Police officers raid a house in Poughkeepsie, New York, where they discover over 800 videotapes created by serial killer Edward Carver, which present a visual record of his murders from the abduction to the post-mortem mutilation of the victim.
Despite the volume of evidence, Carver is careful not to be shown on film unless fully disguised, leading to police and law enforcement beginning an investigation into the whereabouts of both him and his victims.

The year 2025 proved to be a banner year for the horror genre — not merely in terms of box‑office or streaming numbers, but in the way horror both broadened its ambit and deepened its thematic reach.
After a decade in which horror often leaned into nostalgic franchise revivals or formulaic jump‑scares, 2025 signalled a shift: we saw original indie films break through, sequels that pushed boundaries rather than simply repeating old formulas, and a renewed tension between psychological terror and visceral shock that kept audiences on edge in new ways.

The Butcher of Plainfield Ed Gein
Edward Theodore Gein (August 27, 1906 – July 26, 1984), also known as the Butcher of Plainfield and the Plainfield Ghoul, was an American murderer, possible serial killer, and body snatcher.
His crimes, committed around his hometown of Plainfield, Wisconsin, gathered widespread notoriety in 1957 after authorities discovered that he exhumed corpses from local graveyards and fashioned keepsakes from their bones and skin.
He also confessed to killing two women: tavern owner Mary Hogan in 1954 and hardware store owner Bernice Worden in 1957.

In this festive episode of It’s Alive… ALIVE!!!, Aimee Rose and The Doctor examine the life and crimes of Billy Lenz, a man whose story begins with neglect, abuse, and confinement long before the murders ever start.
Raised in a household defined by violence and secrecy, Billy spent his childhood hidden away in an attic while unimaginable crimes unfolded below him — shaping an obsession with family, Christmas, and a sister he believed was stolen from him.
When Billy escapes institutional custody years later, he returns to the only place he’s ever known, unknowingly stepping back into a house now filled with college students preparing for the holidays.

In this explosive continuation of the Pearl Douglas saga, Aimee Rose and The Doctor dig into the twisted decades that followed Pearl’s first killing spree.
Fresh off World War I, Howard Douglas returns home a changed man—only to discover his wife has changed even more.
Together, they bury bodies, bury secrets, and build a marriage forged in blood, lust, and mutual delusion.
From wartime pornography to a guesthouse of horrors, the Douglas farm quietly becomes a magnet for drifters, soldiers, travelers… and victims.
For sixty years they kept their secrets buried but then it all came crashing down in 1979 when a film crew arrived to shoot an X-rated picture on the Douglas property—setting off one of the most shocking massacres in American true-crime lore.

"It's Alive Action Ep 28 Monster’s In Plain Sight"
Most people imagine serial killers as shadowy figures lurking in alleys or creeping through the night.
Yet the most dangerous predators often don’t hide at all—they blend in.
They mow their lawns, wave to neighbors, go to church, and raise families.
They seem ordinary, even likable.
And it’s precisely that normalcy that makes them so terrifying. History’s most chilling killers weren’t outcasts—they were the men next door, hiding monstrous urges behind masks of civility.
When Norman Bates was declared legally insane in 1960, most people assumed that was the end of his story.
He’d live out his days locked away in a psychiatric hospital, while the Bates Motel and the old house on the hill rotted quietly into history.
But they were wrong.
Because after twenty-two years of treatment, doctors determined that Norman Bates was no longer a danger to society.
In 1982, at the age of 50, he was released back into the world.
Join us for the conclusion to this crazy story as things go off the rails even more then before at the Bates Motel!!!
