We Who Wrestle with God: Perceptions of the Divine, this latest book by Jordan Peterson, is an analysis of Biblical narratives, viewing them not as they are, historical accounts tied to a spiritual reality, but as psychologically and morally charged archetypes revealing the human condition and God's character.
God is best thought of, Peterson claims, “not as an actor on the stage of world history but as the still, small voice inside us. God, we might say, is the voice of our highest values”.

I covered a small portion of this case as a news reporter in Memphis, Tennessee. Here's a recap of where the case stands now: Timothy Herrington Jr. is now indicted again after a mistrial. In the early morning of July 8th, 2022 20 year-old Jimmie Jay Lee dressed only in his bathrobe, a gold bonnet, and house shoes left his student apartment in Oxford, Mississippi. Private messages would eventually lead investigators to his alleged killer Timothy Herrington Jr., a college grad from a longtime "church family".
President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance publicly had a back and forth with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. It was a tense and shocking Oval Office meeting on Friday, February 28, 2025.

These plane crashes over the last week are tragedies. They show us that life is short and sudden. It's an unchangeable truth that we don't have control over. But we can have control over how we respond.
BACKGROUND: A midair collision between an Army helicopter and a jetliner killed all 67 people aboard the two aircraft, officials said Thursday. It’s the country’s deadliest aviation disaster in almost a quarter century. The plane carried 60 passengers and four crew members, and three soldiers were aboard the helicopter.
Following this tragedy 6 passengers of a medical jet and one person on the ground were killed after the plane crashed in a Philadelphia neighborhood on Friday evening, officials said.

It was once said; "dreams shed light on the dim places where reason itself has yet to voyage". What do your dream illuminate i.e. reveal about your life? In this edition, Jay Shakur examines what it means to follow your dreams and live a life that's fulfilled through more than mere "goal setting".
How to navigate the chaos that will come to disrupt the order of your life so that you don't prevent your growth in 2024 and beyond? In this edition Jay Shakur examines ideas from Jordan Peterson's "12 Rules For Life".
Chaos is unexplored territory. It’s the things and situations we don’t understand. It’s where you go when you get fired; it’s the threatening stranger on the street; it’s the scary audacious goal you’ve wanted. It’s also the realm of possibility and where new ideas form.
Order is explored territory. It’s stability and structure. It’s your plan for the next day, the comfort of tradition, the customs we use to treat each other. Yet it also can mean concentration camps, fascism, and, less extremely, personal stasis and lack of growth.
For many the start of the new year means brand new goals, standards and a fresh outlook. Many resolve that they need to grow as the calendar changes. But how? In this episode of Jay Shakur Uncensored Shakur explores an alternative path to the cliche "New Year's Resolution".
