Last episode, Eyebrow and Purple were not only delayed at the airport, killing off any chance of them getting back home in time to meet Bishop, but in a massive escalation of the situation, they've also been told they have to go to Colombia.
Well, that's what Santiago told Eyebrow anyway. Eyebrow still hasn't broken the news to Purple yet, so there's still hope that Purple will skewer the whole plan. And if he does, he has my full backing because quite frankly, going to Colombia is a ridiculous idea.
Let's listen in to find out how it all goes once Purple hears of the plan.
Eyebrow and Purple managed to escape Purple's fans in Hyde Park, and the plan was to simply go back to the airport, rest up and then fly back home in time to meet up with Bishop on Monday.
But's something's afoot, and Eyebrow's received a message that seems to be pretty important.
Let's listen in to find out who it was from.
So Eyebrow and Purple have finally been able to secure accommodation in London for the night, at a place named The Jonmount. Seems like an OK place... nothing grand, but it'll do.
However Purple's checked in under the name "Donnie Mustang", and Eyebrow's got a strange feeling about the whole thing. Something's not quite right, and Eyebrow can't quite put his finger on it.
But it's only one night, and then they're on the way home. But there's the next problem... neither of them know that everything's gone to shit back there and that the second they step off the plane, it's game over.
Let's listen in and find out how their day plays out.
Last episode we got a bit of a sense that Eyebrow was stepping into a new world of danger, and I think that he sensed it too.
But for now, he and Purple have a night to themselves in London before returning home tomorrow. It sounded like Spaulding was familiar with the hotel Eyebrow booked, The Bloomsbury, so let's see if it lives up to the hype.
Eyebrow, Purple and PQ are on their way from the airport to visit Eyebrow's associate, Spaulding. But I had a thought in between episodes... I've been to London myself, and if they're travelling to Canary Wharf from Heathrow, that's one heck of a cab ride. This is going to be interesting to listen in to. So let's go shall we?
Well, Eyebrow, Purple and their ever present companion PQ have landed in London, but a day later than Eyebrow had planned, thanks to his tenuous grasp on world geography.
But while they're trying to navigate their way through Heathrow airport, something else is brewing back home. Something that's going to have some pretty major blowback for both Eyebrow and Purple.
Let's listen in.
Last episode, Eyebrow and Purple made their way to the airport for their flying visit to London, and with check-in successfully cleared, it appears that there are no active alerts for either man. So at least that aspect has played to their advantage. Unfortunately though, they haven't been able to shake the ever-present PQ.
But there's still hope. At least they have their tickets to London, while PQ's still scrambling to find one at the last minute. They might yet be free of him.
Let's listen in to find out if PQ will be left standing with his nose pressed against the window, watching Eyebrow and Purple jet off into the distance.
Well God knows what possessed Joe Purple last episode, but at his suggestion, he and Eyebrow are using their weekend pass to travel to London of all places, to meet Eyebrow's old poker buddy. Hopefully they can get some assistance on the money situation.
I tell you what, they're cutting it fine though. They might have the entire weekend, but come 10am Monday morning, they'd better be back.
Let's tag along.
So, Eyebrow's got a guy - Spaulding. Maybe he can help with this crypto situation, or maybe he can't. Eyebrow will never know unless he asks, right?
Let's see if Spaulding's picking up.
I hope you've all had a chance to decompress from the last action-packed episode. That was wild.
And now, with Eyebrow and Purple safely back on the ground, the issue at hand now turns to whether they can still meet their hard deadline with Bishop. The original plan would have seen them arrive back at Coffee Pond with plenty of buffer, but as we've come to know with Eyebrow, the plans don't always play out as expected.
So let's tag along and see how they've fared.
Well, it was reluctant, but Jimmy Eyebrow and Joe Purple have hitched a ride with Lester in his vintage plane, all in an effort to get back to Coffee Pond for their daily check-in.
Lester thinks they'll be fine, so let's find out how accurate that assessment is.
Eyebrow and Purple have a deadline to meet and they're on the way home. It's certainly been a long day for our two friends. Provided everything goes to plan, they'll be back in plenty of time for their 10 o'clock check-in with Bishop tomorrow.
And things always go to plan when it comes to Eyebrow... right?
Well, apparently Eyebrow and Purple's new friend has some contacts who might be able to help them locate the missing money.
Let's listen in, shall we?
With chaos unfolding behind them, Jimmy Eyebrow and Joe Purple are on the run... literally. Over fences... through backyards, and into town. But do they have a plan?
Let's find out.
Well, Eyebrow's spent a couple of hours lording it up in business class, while Purple's been sandwiched between his two oversized colleagues for the entire flight. Whatever they're up to on this trip, I hope it's worth the grief.
Time to see what's waiting for them.
In the last episode, Eyebrow and Purple agreed to take on a simple task for Rafael Santiago - Gutierrez's buddy. But WILL it be simple?
Let's see what they're up to.
In the last episode, we did a deep dive into Joe Purple's past and worked out why, despite his misgivings about Eyebrow's intentions, he's still committed to remaining by Eyebrow's side.
Now it's time to find out exactly what's being proposed and whether Purple is still on board with it all.
Today we're going to depart from the usual idiocy and instead tackle one of the more poignant chapters that I've written. There won't be any laughs here, but at the end, some things may begin making a little more sense - now and also as the story progresses.
All along, Eyebrow has had Joe Purple as his constant companion throughout the entire journey. Is Purple happy about that? That's debateable. But what do we really know about Joe Purple? Or, if we're going to be entirely accurate - what do we know about Marcus Bloom? I mean... really?
Well, let's take a trip back in time, specifically to a turning point in Purple's life...
So, when we left the previous episode, we learnt that news of Eyebrow's arrest may have had the unintended consequence of popping him up on the radar momentarily.
Let's see if anyone was paying attention.
In our last episode, Bishop and McFadden were shocked to discover that not only are they tasked with chaperoning Eyebrow for the foreseeable future, but they'll also have to do it right there in Coffee Pond, miles from their own homes. Something tells me they're going to be less than impressed with the whole situation.
Let's listen to how it plays out.
