Welcome to Season 3 of Just Love Them. This season is an invitation to find peace, heal relationships, and learn to trust God with the people we love—especially those who have stepped away from our faith.
In this episode, we explore a powerful truth that brings deep comfort: God’s love and help are not reserved for just the obedient or the “faithful.” God is aware of every one of His children and is actively involved in all of our lives—regardless of belief, behavior, or church attendance.
This episode gently challenges the belief that God withdraws His love or help when someone steps off the covenant path. Instead, it offers reassurance that God never abandons His children. He is present, aware, and working for good in the lives of all whom He loves—including your loved ones.
God is not an all-or-nothing God. His love is constant, inclusive, and relentless. And on this truth, you can rest.
Peace is possible.

Today’s episode is all about the promises you have access to right now. Did you know that the promises we read about in scripture weren’t just for ancient people—but are extended to you, personally, today?
Julie Hawkes, a master scriptorian, joins me to share powerful stories from the scriptures alongside experiences from her own life. Together, we explore how God steps into impossible situations and keeps His promises in ways that are often unexpected, tender, and transformative.
If you need a reminder that God is aware of you—and is already working in your story—this hopeful episode is one you won’t want to miss.

We’ve all had a moment when a tiny pebble sneaks into our shoe and makes it almost impossible to keep walking. We stop, we remove it, and we move forward.
But what about the pebbles in our hearts—old hurts, resentments, memories, or disappointments that stay hidden until something shakes them loose?
In this episode, I share a deeply personal story of discovering a pebble I didn't know I still carried. A story about a niece I loved like my own daughter—our closeness, our drifting apart, and the shock of realizing that years later, I still held hurt.
When tragedy struck her life, I wanted to help. But that pebble—unnoticed, unacknowledged—made generosity feel hard. Pain blocked compassion. I wasn’t proud of how I felt, but I was honest about it. And that honesty opened the door to healing.
This is an episode about:
💛 Listening to your heart instead of ignoring the pain💛 Letting God remove what you cannot💛 Replacing hurt with love💛 Choosing compassion over resentment💛 Letting miracles begin inside you.

In this powerful episode, I sit down with Roseanne Dawes, a mother whose journey through heartbreak, surrender, and unexpected grace will stay with you long after the episode ends.
Roseanne shares the deeply personal story of the eight months when her son broke all contact with her—months filled with uncertainty, fear, and the pain of not knowing how to move forward. What began as a devastating experience became the catalyst for a profound internal shift.
As she wrestled with sorrow and confusion, Roseanne began to see the limitations of her own black-and-white thinking. She recognized the ways she had clung to certainty, control, and “the right way,” and how those patterns had unintentionally created distance in her most cherished relationships. With honesty and humility, she describes the moment she realized that her son’s choices were never hers to manage.
Her story is tender, relatable, and full of hope. Together, we talk about:
How to move from fear and judgment to compassion and trust
Letting go of the illusion of control
The life-changing truth that every one of us—no matter our path, questions, or choices—is always in God’s hands
If you’ve ever loved someone who is choosing a different direction, or if your heart aches for a child who has pulled away, this episode is a gentle reminder that God is working in ways we cannot see. Roseanne’s journey shows us that peace is possible, healing is real, and no one is ever beyond the reach of divine love.

In this deeply personal and faith-affirming episode, Shiree shares tender stories of young people—and her own experience—wrestling with God’s silence. From a returned missionary praying on a mountainside for a butterfly that never came, to a young woman pleading in the celestial room for assurance, to Shiree’s teenage prayers that seemed to go unheard for months, we explore the painful question so many ask:
Why doesn’t God answer when we are trying so hard to reach Him?
Through scripture, personal witnesses, and sacred examples - this episode invites us to see unanswered prayers not as abandonment, but as part of God’s refining, strengthening, deeply intentional plan.
This episode is a reminder that God has a plan, even when we don’t understand it. He sees what we cannot. And while His timing may feel painfully slow, He is always near, always aware, always working for our highest good.

Guilt is something we all wrestle with—but did you know not all guilt is the same? Sometimes it can guide us toward healing and growth, and other times it traps us in shame and emotional bondage.
In this episode, Shiree shares a personal story she carried for years, and how she learned to recognize the difference between what she calls “Satan’s guilt”—the kind that humiliates, isolates, and keeps us stuck—and “God’s guilt”—the kind that humbles us, leads to repentance, and ultimately brings peace.
If you’ve ever wondered why guilt feels so heavy, or how to move from endless shame into real healing, this episode will help you see guilt in a new light and find a path forward.

Personal stories from her life and the struggles that shaped her
How those challenges have transformed her perspective
What her biggest challenge is right now
Insights on finding peace and connection across differences

In this episode, I’m joined by Jeanna and David Hepburn, who share their remarkable story of healing, redemption, and love.
For years, David wrestled with the pull of pornography, the burden of guilt, and 20 years spent away from God. Ultimately, God gave Him a miracle as great as "parting the waters of the Red Sea".
In another state, Jeana walked her own path of heartache, learning to trust God in the consequence of others’ choices. Though they were not together during those difficult years, each discovered the peace and restoration found in the atonement of Jesus Christ.
In God’s perfect timing, their separate journeys of healing ultimately brought them to each other. Today, their marriage is built on understanding, grace, and faith.
Their story is a beautiful reminder that it’s never too late for God’s healing to change us, bring us back to Him, and even create new beginnings. This conversation is filled with honesty, hope, and the assurance that no matter where we’ve been, Christ can make us whole again.

Did you know you have your own personal stained glass window? In this episode, I talk about the beautiful symbolism of light — how we’re each a unique vessel for reflecting Christ’s light in our own way. When we choose to let His light shine through us, we can bring hope, warmth, and clarity to the lives of those we love, even when they make choices that are different from our own. Being a living stained glass window can illuminate the world around us.

When conflict shows up, most of us fall into one of two patterns: we’re either a pursuer, wanting to talk it through until it’s resolved, or a withdrawer, wanting to pull away, process alone, and move on. Both styles are natural, and both have strengths—but what happens when emotions get stuck inside, unresolved?
In this episode, I introduce you to a powerful tool I call the Gentle Release Method—a guided visualization that allows you to let go of heavy emotions without needing to relive the pain or talk it out with anyone else. This practice is especially helpful for withdrawers who prefer to resolve conflict internally, but it can be healing for anyone who feels weighed down by lingering emotional pain.
You’ll learn:
The difference between pursuers and withdrawers in conflict resolution
Why emotions don’t just “go away” when we push them aside
How unprocessed feelings can resurface and impact your health and relationships
A step-by-step Gentle Release guided meditation to help you release stored pain and invite in peace
This isn’t an episode to multitask through—you’ll want to pause, find a quiet spot, and follow along with the guided visualization. By the end, expect to feel lighter, calmer, and more free.
✨ Bonus: Not sure if you’re a pursuer or a withdrawer? I’ve created a simple quiz to help you discover your conflict style. Just visit shireebest.com, fill out the contact form with the word quiz in the subject line, and I’ll send it right to your inbox!
