This week on The KOKO Show we are joined in studio by a follically fabulous fly-half, he is a bronzed bombshell from Bondi who should probably be on tour with the Wallabies right now, but what the hell do we know! It is of course the one and only Mr Ben Donaldson. With Benny Boy riding shotgun the lads get candid with their concerns, as they dissect the Wallabies’ record breaking loss to a Mack Hansen powered Irish side in Dublin. The loss to Ireland is one thing for the Wallabies, but the lads appeared to be more shocked by the manner and style in which the Aussies got annihilated in the Emerald Isle. The boys get stuck into a road map of why the Wallabies find themselves in this situation and then they propose some possible ways in which we can right this ship, post the Joe Schmidt era. However, it is not all doom and gloom on the KOKO show as we highlight some of the other games from over the weekend, results that saw England beat the All Blacks in style, Scotland blow a big lead against Argentina and the Springboks beat Italy with only 14 men, AGAIN! As the international year comes to a close, we round the bend with only one week remaining in the Spring Tour and for the Wallabies it is all about leaving a mark against France, drawing a line in the sand that says “the slide stops here”. The KOKO Crew gives you all their predictions heading into round four of the tour, airing a few spicy upsets in the process and telling you who are the dead set locks. To finish the show we step away from the privately educated world of these ra ra raggamuffins to answer a listener question that shows a more human side to the lads - “what is your guilty pleasure no one knows about?’ - let’s just say the answers will knock your cashmere socks off. So sit back, relax, draw yourself a nice long bath and eat a tub of crunchy peanut butter with a spoon. This all new episode of Kick Offs and Kicks Ons is one hell of a therapy session!

This week on The KOKO Show the lads were a little down in the dumps and we decided that we wouldn't subject a special guest to our somber footy fuelled pizza-less pity party. Thus, we went for a no guest nonsense episode in the hope that with each other's support, love and no mention of Italian cuisine, we might start to make some sense of the Azurri’s shocking defeat over the Wallabies in Udine. The boys in this ep untie the bondage ropes, unfurl the main-sail and shoot from the hip as they search for answers surrounding the apparent regression of Australian rugby post their historical win over the Boks in South Africa. Questions are raised and theories are presented as to why our glorious gold jersey is dipping back into bad habits and playing an inaccurate brand of footy that screams fatigue and self-doubt. However, KOKO isn't just a one stop shop for doom and gloom, as we touch on all the other results from week two of the Spring Tour, matches that saw the Boks bounce the Frogs, the English defeat Fiji, the Pumas pounce on the Welsh and the All Blacks thumb their noses to the thistles. Plus, we take a look forward to week 3 of the tour, previewing and predicting that some teams (the All Blacks) will continue their roll and where others can bounce back from the depths of defeat (the Wallabies). Finally, the lads really lighten the mood of the show by answering a listener's question to take their minds off the on field action and boy does it ruffle a couple of feathers. So sit back, relax and boycott your local Italian businesses, it is very clear that they are doing better than advertised! Alorra ladies and gentlemen, it is time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on The KOKO Show the lads are left to pick up the pieces after watching the Wallabies get put to the sword by a clinical English side over the Weekend. As Australians, there are a few things in life that can completely ruin your day: an increase in petrol prices, a shit coffee, tall poppies and losing to England in absolutely anything. So, being joined on the pod by one of England’s favourite sons Ugo Monye, made the licking of wounds so much harder for the lads as they had to navigate all the salt he was rubbing into them. With Ugo in tow and chipper as hell we broke down the English tidy up at Twickenham, illuminating where the Poms were perfect and why the Aussies couldn't fire a single shot. Ugo also gave us the low down on the English public’s current feelings about their rugby team and who they absolutely hate losing to on the world stage. Plus, we ran our collective footballing IQ’s across all the other international matches that happened over the weekend, results that saw South Africa jump Japan, Scotland make light work of the USA and the All Blacks pull apart the Irish. Finally, the KOKO crew look forward to next weekend as the Wallabies shape up to take on the Italians in Udine, whilst also previewing all the other big international matches on the card. So, to all my fellow Australians, lift up your chins, raise up your voices and say something mean to your local English import. It is time to forget about last weekend’s result, move on to next week’s match and enjoy the soothing sounds of an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on the KOKO show we bring it back to our roots, delivering to you a no guest nonsense pod that is packed full of smack talk, poking fun at each other's insecurities and butt load of code. To start off the lads unpack the Wallabies’ close call in Tokyo, as Eddie’s Brave Blossoms put up one hell of a fight to try and claim their first ever ‘dub’ against the might of the green and gold. However, our golden gladiators battled the elements and some sloppy execution to claim the win and our panel of pricks picked it apart to identify some work-ons before we take on the might of England. Ladies and gentlemen spring has sprung and autumn has autumned, depending on where you live, but one thing is for certain the world over its time for some tangy touring. With the Wallabies touching down in the Motherland ready to make jellied eels out of these pommy princes, the KOKO lads have put together a full ‘Spring Tour Set Up’, previewing this week's tussle at Twickenham, as well as all the other international clashes this weekend. With hemispheric denomination at stake, emotions will run high as KOKO gets well and truly behind the South to ride these suckers home and prove which semi-circle is the best at playing footy. So get jacked, don your nation's garb and ready your noble steed, because this shit is about to get real up in here and The KOKO Show is a one stop shop for all your Spring Tour silliness. It’s time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on the KOKO Show we recorded a little earlier to ensure we had time to say bon voyage to Drew and Gits before they turned left on QF 1 for a week of “work” / debauchery in the City of Love, Paris. However, before these two departed on their baguette beating adventure, we were joined by the third most capped rugby player of all time, a man that has an upper body like a Canadian Grizzly and legs like Margo Robbie from the Barbie movie, it is of course the Aussie Rugby GOAT Mr James Slipper. In this ep the lads put Slips on the hot seat, delving deep into his 151 cap career, revealing his lung busting pre-game ritual and they show him some love for what has been one of the great slogs of all time. Plus, the boys give him some sage words of advice on what not to do in retirement as this beautiful backy bastard sails seamlessly into his next chapter of life.
Additionally ye KOKO faithful, we give you all the action from the Aussie A demolition job of the Japan XV in Osaka, we cover a plethora of exciting rugby news and lastly, we have another little crack at convincing you that we are actually trying to lose weight in our KOKO fitness challenge, in partnership with Whoop. All this mediocre madness and not a whole more in this week’s brand new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

his week on The KOKO Show we celebrate our first landmark achievement as a wannabe podcast. In what has been a topsy turvy 22 months, we are now part of the illustrious 100K club and it is all thanks to you the fans that we are fortunate enough to roll this shit out each week and call it a job. So, thank you and please keep supporting us on this journey! To help us celebrate this lofty showbiz achievement we are joined in the studio by one of the best young guns in Australian Rugby, he is the starting flyhalf of our resurgent Wallabies and without question the shows favourite courageous carrot top, it is of course, the one and only Tane Edmed. Merely hours after learning that he would be travelling to Japan and Europe with the Wallabies on the Spring Tour, Tane sat down with the lads to discuss his career thus far, what it is like getting lit up by Joe Schmidt and he explained the mindset of the group as they head off for what will be a cracking end of year tour. It is fair to say that this young firebrand is not just impressive on the pitch but his attitude, work ethic and innate leadership are qualities of a young rugby player that we should be proud to see don the green and gold. Plus, as a fellow Whoop wearer, Tane lets the lads in on a few trade secrets about the data you want to see and the numbers we should try to avoid as we continue to embark on our journey towards fitness immortality all thanks to our dear friends at Whoop.
So sit back, relax and let the future of Australian Rugby get handsy with your soul, because this redheaded renegade will put weekly reiki and a rubdown in the rear vision mirror for good. Now, for another spoon full of sugar to make this week go down a treat, it is time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on the KOKO Show the whole gang is finally back together, Drew survived Perth, Goit is tucked away in Canberra and Swoop is done and dusted with his gruelling conference schedule. Plus, the lads are joined this week by the recently retired bow legged bad boy from Scone and one of the greatest Wallabies to ever lace them up, it is of course Mr Nic White. With Whitey in the wings the boys dissect the final round of the RC that saw the mighty Wallabies go down to the AB’s for the 11th time on the trot and the brave Boks claim a nail-bitting win over Los Pumas in London to claim their second title in as many years. In summation, this year’s RC will go down as one of the most competitive of all time and despite the stylish South Africans prevailing as the winners, all four sides will head into their spring tours buoyed with the knowledge they can beat anyone on their day. With the rugby on home soil all wrapped up for 2025, the lads turned their attention to Nic White’s career, giving the little maestro his flowers in celebration of everything he has done for rugby in Australia and they discuss what his plans are for the not too distant future.
Finally, we finish the episode having a little look at the Waratahs’ big win over the Western Force in the Super Rugby AUS final, we have a deep dive into the world of R360 and to wrap it all up we share our fitness challenge progress as the silly season approaches all thanks to our dear friends at WHOOP. So sit back, relax and check your resting heart rate, because that SOB is about to go through the roof with an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on the KOKO Show we are back bigger, better and more bodacious after a much needed week off. The lads have rested their weary bodies and sharpened their footy minds in order to tackle this week's double dose of RC magic and to celebrate Mr Giteau's 43rd Birthday in style. On the show we went cover to cover on the Wallabies’ narrow loss to the All blacks at Eden Park, extending their unbeaten streak at the ‘Garden’ to 52 wins on the trot and we have a seriously deep gander at the weird and wacky result out of Durban that saw the Springboks slap the rumps of the Pumas to the tune of 67-30. Plus, the KOKO lads are joined by the Eastern Suburbs eshay and Canberra’s clippered up king Mr Tom Wright, to chat about how his ACL recovery is going, when we can expect him back on the pitch and what it was like to see James Slipper play his 150th Test Match over the weekend.
With the boys getting older and the beers flowing more freely we checked back in on our KOKO Fitness Challenge to see how the lads are progressing or regressing in their goal to reach that ever elusive 10% body fat. However, thanks to our new friends at WHOOP the boys can track their journey and see in what areas they are excelling and where they need to lower the shoulders and partake in a couple of tough carries. Finally, we took some time to celebrate the mighty English Red Roses on their incredible World Cup win at Twickenham, as they took down those crazy Canadians 33-13 in some serious style. Congratulations Girls! So sit back, relax and get ready for a refreshed dose of debauchery, the boys are back with juice in the tank and love in their hearts to give you an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on The KOKO Show we unshackled our chains, cut the bow lines loose and unloaded the dead weight, that is right Swoop is sick and there isn't a bloody guest within cooee of our glorious studio. Our thoughts and prayers were dispensed to a sick little boy on the couch called Swoop, whether it is the spring time sniffles, his hayfever ramping up or two cracking nights on the lash, a sick little puppy is a sick little puppy. Despite being down one of our valuable foot soldiers, Matt Giteau, Drew Mitchell and The Prof really stepped up to the plate and took some ‘big ole’ swings at analysing this topsy turvy, curly wurly and herky jerky RC competition. The lads cast their educated eyes over all the ra ra action from across the weekend, shedding light on how the Wallabies were a pack of naughty boys against the Pumas in Sydney and how the All Blacks got slapped silly in record setting style by the surging Springboks. Moreover, the boys armed with their footy IQ’s and a belly full of beer threw the proverbial leg over all the possible RC machinations in the hope of finding some clarity in this Even Steven season.
Plus, we say farewell to the valiant Wallaroos from the 2025 Rugby World Cup, applauding their efforts and achievements in reaching the quarter-finals and showcasing the progress women's rugby has seen both on the pitch and in the stands. Congratulations girls, we couldn't be more proud! Finally, our Swoopless trio of heroes had a little look at the Super Rugby AUS matches from the weekend, expressing their highlights and low lights from the two matches that showcased the next generation of Aussie stars. It is clear due to the mercury rising that spring is springing and souls are singing for some of that rock hard Aussie vitamin D. So kick off your well oiled Chelsea boots and slide on those Positano purchased driving loafers, it is time for an all new episode of Kick Off and Kick Ons.

This week on the KOKO Show we are joined by three whopping guests, that is right we are bringing you a smorgasbord of footy talent that can only be found on a podcast hosted by three Wallabies has-beens and one footy wannabe. With the RC completing its third lap around the sun the boys are joined by everyone's favourite moustachioed mountain big Willy Skelton to chat about the Wallabies massive comeback against Los Pumas, as well as the Boks coming up short at Eden Park against the All Blacks. Plus, big Willy gives us an exclusive scoop as to whether or not this large lump of loveable energy is available for selection when the Bledisloe Cup comes around. As the RC hits its midway point the results have never been closer and the stakes have never been higher, thus the KOKO lads unpack all the machinations that could possibly unfold in what is shaping up to be a magical final three matches.
Plus, we are joined all the way from Brighton by two of the best Wallaroos that have ever laced them up. Both of these ladies are part of the fantastically fabulous 40 Cap club and they are both playing in their third World Cup, so please welcome the formidable pairing of Ashley Marsters and Trilleen Pomare. As the Wallaroos head into their Quarter-Final match-up against the clinical Canadians the girls shed some light on what it will take to beat the 2nd best team in the world and progress even further into the tournament. Plus, Ash and Trill have a little bone to pick with the Royal Family as a certain majesty had a little more time for the rampant Roses compared to our wonderful Wallaroos. With that all being said, it is time to practice your bow and work on your curtsey, as we serve up a new King sized episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on the KOKO Show the lads get down and dirty with their ‘ra ra’ previews this week, as they wine, dine and come off the pine for the upcoming third round of The ‘RC’. With all four nations sitting on one win each, this year’s ‘RC’ is as tight as a mouse’s waistcoat and it is anyone's for the taking. Thus, to summarize the upcoming weekend of footy frivolities, the Wallabies are in their “Building phase” and taking on Los Pumas who are in their “Record Breaking Phase”. Whilst those crafty Springboks are in their “no longer world number 1 phase” and are hoping to break an 88-year hoodoo at Eden Park against the All Blacks who are in their “our local community hates us again” phase, so as the classics say, rugby will be the real winner. Moreover, the fellas once again set alight their competitive spirits as they ‘mano a mano a mano’ in an Argentinian flavoured KOKO Quiz.
Plus, we are joined by Wallaroos enforcer, lineout specialist, veterinary physio and most importantly the latest member to join the 40 cap club, the one and only Vi-queen Michaela Leonard. The lads with Michaela in tow unpacked all the happenings from the Women’s RWC in England, focussing on the Wallaroos’ draw with the USA and what the girls have to do against England to clinch that last finals spot. With the whole nation at their backs the Wallaroos have highlighted that a fast start, brutal defence and quietening the crowd is the secret sauce needed to take down the world number one English Roses on their own turf. So rise up Australia and get behind the Wallaroos as they fight for the final spot in the quarter-finals this weekend. So, sit back, relax, kick off your pristine RM’s and take a double dose of your gout medicine, this episode is going to be as fun as 4am finish at your favourite watering hole. It’s time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on the KOKO Show we deliver you some serious double trouble in the guest department, as we are joined by Italian Centurion Martin Castrogiovanni live in the studio and all the way from Manchester the Wallaroos swiss army knife Lori Cramer gets up early to talk some shop. The big, bold and extremely beautiful Castrogiovanni shakes off the effects of ‘Fiji Time’ to join the lads live on set and chat about the Boks bouncing back in Cape Town over the Wallabies and how the ‘Win’ Pumas created history knocking off the All Blacks for the first time on home soil. However, when Castro is in your presence it isn’t all fun filled frivolities about footy, this former tight headed loose unit has had a colourful career, filled with funny yarns, huge fines and kick ass parties. So get ready to laugh your finest Italian Merino socks off, because this larger than life long haired larikin really blows the bloody doors off.
Plus, all the way from sunny old ‘Mancs’ Lori Cramer jumps online to discuss the Wallaroos’ smash up job of Samoa in match one of the RWC, as well as how the girls are shaping up to take on the foe adorned in stars and stripes, the USA in match two. She opens up about what life is like in camp, the pressures surrounding a good World Cup run, as well as admitting to the fact that she might actually be the Drew Mitchell of the Wallaroos squad. So ladies and gentlemen, sit back, relax and enjoy the KOKO ride, because this old chestnut takes some tangy twists and turns. It is time for an all new ep of Kicks Off and Kicks Ons.

This week on The KOKO Show we have two very special guests that top and tail this groundbreaking episode. To start off, the lads are joined by one of the most prominent voices in South African rugby, a man that has played 9 tests for the Springboks and from all reports he does his best work at altitude, it is of course Mr Hanyani ‘Shimmy’ Shimange. Whilst Shimmy was stuffing his face with humble pie, the lads discussed the Wallabies’ historic win at Ellis Park over the World Champion Springboks, breaking down how it happened from 22-5 down and where it all went wrong for the shell-shocked home side. The boys looked at individual moments, plays and performances that shaped this drought breaking win, whilst also looking forward to this week’s match in Cape Town and what we can expect to see from this wounded Springboks side. Plus, when all the gloating and yahooing quietened down we eventually moved on to cover the other TRC result from the weekend, which saw the mighty All Blacks server up some seriously fast footy to take down Los Pumas 41-24 in Cordoba. With week one of the TRC in the books, it is fair to say this Wallabies team has shocked the rugby world, but here at KOKO we told you this ‘Schmidt’ was going to happen.
To continue this groundbreaking piece of podcasting history we are joined by Wallaroos enforcer and metre eating sensation Bree-Anna Browne. She joined us from the Wallaroos’ World Cup camp in Manchester to spill all the tea on what their tournament prep is looking like and how training is going before game one against Samoa. The KOKO Show along with Australia are throwing all their love and support behind the ‘Gals in Gold’ and here is hoping they shake things up at RWC2025. So sit back, relax and adorn those beautiful faces with pore clogging face paint, this week we are eating, drinking and sleeping all things green and gold. In conclusion we just want to say “stand up Australia” it is time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on The KOKO Show the lads are joined by the newest inductee into the World Rugby Hall of Fame, a man that has played over 80 games for the Wallabies, has won a Lions Series and has lifted ‘Bill’ above his beautifully sculpted head. He is one the best Aussies to ever do it, so please welcome Mr 172…Matt Burke. With the Lions Tour well and truly in the rear vision mirror the lads with Burkey’s help are turning their attention to the TRC, which is kicking off this weekend with the Wallabies taking on the Springboks and the Pumas hosting the All Blacks. We have always said that the TRC is the south’s version of the Six Nations, just with bigger players and better footy…jokes of course. Thus, the fellas set out to give you a full preview of this upcoming succulent feast of fast paced rugby, with squads, tips and smoking hot talking points. The boys also get around to addressing some of the news sweeping the Rugby Union landscape this week, but none bigger than Australia’s own Matt Burke getting himself a funny little hat, a cancelled trip to Monaco and having his Hall of Fame presentation in torrential rain at Homebush. Thanks to our dear friends at Budgy Smuggler you will notice the boys are draped in the finest Wallabies pyjamas and looking the part on a set overlooking the Sydney Harbour Bridge, but fear not our fearless fans we might be in a new location but we guarantee the same old shit. So sit back, relax and pour yourself a crisp white from the Napa Valley, it’s time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on The KOKO Show the lad’s souls are bent but most certainly not broken. After eight weeks of touring alongside the Lions, KOKO has returned home to bind their wounds and rebuild for what is going to be an exciting Rugby Championship. Thanks to our dear friends at Guinness we break down Test Match three in our ‘Perfect Pour’ segment and the lads celebrate the fact that this young Australian team are building to something special with a home World Cup on the horizon in 2027. The fellas looked in every nook and cranny from Saturday night's game and they have determined that the Lions are worthy winners of the 2025 series, however, they opened up both barrels on all the pundits that claimed it wouldn't be worth touring to Australia and that Wallabies are not worthy foe… How do you like us now? So as we put a tidy little bow on this record breaking series, bathe in Wallabies glory and get a new script for Doxycycline from our GPs, the lads turn their attention to the TRC and how this young Aussie side will go against the other Southern Hemisphere juggernauts in only a matter of weeks. So sit back, relax and wave goodbye to the sea of red, congratulations on the series win but please politely leave this country that you sent us to and don't come back for another 12 or so years… only kidding. Sorry we got carried away. It is now time for a buoyant and happy episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on the KOKO Show the lads try and pick up the pieces after experiencing what was an emotional weekend for Aussie rugby fans in Melbourne. If you have been living under a rock, the Wallabies were pipped at the post on Saturday by a resurgent Lions team that claimed a big series win 2-0 at the MCG. Despite being heartbroken and frustrated with the result the KOKO lads paint on a pretty smile and give you a full review of what happened at the ‘G’ in Guinness’ ‘Perfect Pour’ segment and they reiterate just how important it is for the Wallabies to pick themselves up, dust themselves off and show up big in Sydney.
The lads are joined by one of the greatest to ever do it in George Gregan and they discuss how the series might be done but the ability to keep writing this resurgent Aussie rugby narrative is well and truly still on track. With George’s rugby mind overflowing with brilliance the KOKO Crew dive deep into the psyche of a champion to see where he believes Aussie rugby is at and where it needs to go. So, sit back, relax and tip your cap to the Lions, they deserve our respect. It is time for an all new yet slightly sorrowful episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on the KOKO Show the lads use the warmth of mateship and connection to repair their wounds sustained in Bris-Vegas, we mend, we grow and we do it all again in Melbourne. As you all know, 52,500 screaming fans took to Brisbane last week in the hope that their side would take the choccys in the first match of the Test Series. The KOKO crew use this episode to unpack all the action from the Lion’s dominant win over the Wallabies, a match that saw the touring team take the result out of the hosts hands in the first 40 mins. The boys pontificate on possible coaching changes in game two, as well as the Wallabies remaining focused on sticking to a gameplan and working on execution rather than rediscovery. As the Melbourne match edges itself into focus, the ‘G’ explodes into raptures and the Wallabies' destiny hangs by a thread. It is time for the Wallabies to stand up and make this one count. It’s time to re-adjust the current take on Australian Rugby and it is time for another episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.

This week on the KOKO Show we come to you from the glorious confines of the MJ Bale flagship store in Martin Place, Sydney. The lads are dressed to impress with some silky threads that lift the spirits and allow the human form to podcast like they have never podcasted before, all thanks to MJ Bale. We have arrived ladies and gentlemen, the first Test Match between the Lions and the Wallabies is soon upon us and the KOKO Crew couldn't be more up and about at the prospect of two great teams doing battle at Suncorp Stadium. To help us along this joyous journey, we have enlisted the help of two very special guests. The first has played over 90 caps for Wales and he was one of the brave men that took down the Wallabies in 2013, it is none other than Dr Jamie Roberts and the other is triple international, cross-code footy legend and rugby media’s leading lady Allana Ferguson.
Jamie joins the lads for the first half of the show to muse and discuss how both sides will shape up and prepare this week leading into the first Test. We discuss potential tactics, predicted sides and what the Lions will do to navigate this growing laundry list of injured players. Plus, ‘The King’ sticks around to give us his ‘Perfect Pour’ from the weekend just gone, all thanks to our headline sponsor Guinness, as well as playing a little game of ‘Which Lion Was it Anyway?’
We have always said, when one guest leaves you replace them with someone better. Step to the fore Allana Ferguson. All thanks to our great friends at TAB, Allana joined the show to crunch the odds heading into the first Test Match this Saturday in Brisbane. Plus, she unleashes her depth of knowledge to give us a full wrap of the Wallaroos’ encouraging loss to the Black Ferns in Wellington and how the ladies are shaping up with the Rugby World Cup on the horizon this August.
So in summation, it is time to bloody lock in. We have waited 12 long years to get our chance at revenge against this crimson clad gaggle of geezers and let’s not let this one slide. They have taken over our beaches, booked up our restaurants and are smugly drinking our beer. But they will never take our podcast! It is time for an all new episode of Kick Offs and Kick Ons.
