Hello loves 💛
Thank you for being here.
This episode is a riff — a moving, breathing, unfolding moment in real time. I’ve been on a three-month pause from social media… not a disappearance, not a breakdown, not a failure — a choice. A calling inward. A re-rooting.
And yet, what I’m now meeting is the fear beneath the quiet:
What if I never want to return?
What if choosing myself so deeply means I don’t fit back into the world I stepped out of?
What if the life I was building… no longer feels like mine?
In this conversation, I explore:
•Taking a break from being “seen”
•Learning to trust the inner pull without external validation
•The discomfort of being in the void / liminal space
•The fear of choosing ourselves so fully we might not need others
•The recovering people-pleaser identity dissolving
•Letting life re-form itself without forcing
If you’re in a season of pause, cocoon, wintering, void, or deep self-reclamation — this will likely speak directly to your bones.
✨ Let me know what this stirs for you
What whispers came alive inside you?
Big love,
Jenny 🤍

In this vlog/podcast, I share heartfelt reflections on time, presence, and gratitude — inspired by films, family moments, and the reminder to slow down.
I talk about:
🌿 The importance of being present with loved ones (and why cuddles still matter, even with teenagers).
🌿 How films and stories can help us process emotions and reflect on life.
🌿 The way time passes — through parenting, loss, and change — and how to honour it instead of fearing it.
🌿 Why we need to pause the hustle, put down our phones, and truly live in the moment.
This is your gentle invitation to slow down, reflect on how far you’ve come, and reconnect with what really matters.
If you’re exploring mindfulness, parenting reflections, grief, gratitude, presence, or slowing down in a busy world, this share is for you.
✨ Take stock of your journey.
✨ Be in the now.
✨ Let life seize you.
Big love,
Jenny 💛
Walking the Marsh: Mothering, Endings & the Call of the Feminine - Podcast Episode 025 of the Know Thyself Podcast.
Out on Stephanie’s beloved marsh, we record a walking, talking medicine conversation about the parts of us that resist what we most need. We name the weight of modern motherhood, the grief of endings that weren’t properly honoured, and the ache for a real village. We talk Virgo-season “go-go-go” vs. the feminine pace of nature, why art and slowness can trigger guilt and perfectionism, and how barefoot earth, birdsong, and a good scream in a field can soothe a fried nervous system.
Expect honesty, humour, and a few F-bombs as we touch on: being a single mum in a broken system; allowing support; September cycle energy; full-moon/eclipse endings and new beginnings; receiving Mother Nature; and the permission to choose creativity over crumbs and shoulds. If you’re navigating resistance, craving community, or remembering how to live at human speed, walk with us.
Key themes: resistance to the feminine, mothering vs. being mothered, honouring endings, nervous system care, creativity without perfection, seasons & cycles, village energy, nature as teacher.
Content notes: strong language; frank talk about motherhood and frustration.
CTA: If this resonated, share your “village moment” or a nature practice that’s helping you—tag me or send a voice note. Big love.

If I’m Not Witnessed by Others, Do I Even Exist?
A raw, unfiltered dive into the existential and the everyday, where Jenny explores the tender space between needing to be seen and learning to witness herself. In this episode, recorded in real-time flow with no edits or polish, she unpacks the pull to disappear from social media for a year, the cycles of burnout and renewal, and the unsettling question of whether creativity still matters if no one is watching. Blending personal truth, astrology, human design, and the quantum mystery of the observer effect, this is part journal entry, part soul inquiry — an open invitation to anyone questioning their own visibility, value, and creative life force.
In this deeply reflective episode, I share an honest, late-night transmission on the energy of “I don’t chase, I attract.” From the bed, in the quiet after a full-on weekend, I talk about the shift from toxic positivity and hustle to nervous system peace, soul alignment, and surrendering to the moment. I open up about navigating mental health, letting go of old programming, learning to rest, and trusting the divine timing of life. This one is for those walking the path less travelled—those who feel deeply, live intuitively, and are learning to honour their unique rhythm.
It’s raw. It’s real. It’s a love letter to the ones doing the deep inner work. You’re not alone.
⚠️ Sweary Warning ⚠️
Welcome to an ad hoc conversation with my cousin and soul sister Hayley Bird where the conversation flows, weaves, twists and turns as it always does when talking to someone who is all about soul exploration and personal development.
This podcast episode has come off the back of a phone call we were having, and is recorded directly on my phone (wow I know!), so there is an occasional beeping which is slightly annoying, but hopefully not too distracting!
We were discussing the things that are coming up for us over the last couple of days, such as consistency, flow, our right to change our minds, and the way society tells us otherwise. The conversation gets onto one of our favourite topics: shadow work, where Hayley expertly explains Carolyn Elliotts book existential kink and how the law of attraction is missing this vital part.
The book discussed is: “Existential Kink: Unmask Your Shadow and Embrace Your Power; a Method for Getting What You Want by Getting Off on What You Don't - Book by Carolyn Elliott”
Hello hello and happy 2025.... What a start to the year its been.... No intro and outro here, just me sharing where I'm at.
This vulnerable real talk is a little update and share about what has been going on for me. I have realised I am suffering with mental burn out and depression and I sensed I needed to get recording and see what wanted to come out.
This is an episode for anyone else feeling the pressure to be consistent in an infinitely inconsistent world.

Settle in for a little life run down and story time with Jen.
So often we can feel that our stories are pointless or not worth sharing, but our experiences are what shape us into who we are, and can be how we turn our experiences into teachable moments and ways in which we can hold other people through similar situations.
As I step deeper and deeper into my authentic expression with self love and empowerment, I know I am activating in you, layers of your own narrative, voice and stories that want to be birthed and shared.
Together we rise. Share your words. Share your magic. Share your thoughts feelings and reflections. The world needs your voice.
Big love xx

We have been inner world soul journeyers for many years now and getting to travel this path together has been so healing.
I felt called to record this podcast episode and trust the flow of the medicinal conversation today, and I am so glad I did. Thank you H for being a magical guest and I know these words and this magic will find those that need it.
We talked about The Void space, connecting into our Souls and coming back to oneness with our own inner light, leaving behind all the societal and social norms placed upon us. We dive into AI and talk about it's magic and the co-creation we can play with this world changing technology.

A little channeled message of love and deep gratitude after a weekend with my mum. I felt so called to sit down and put a voice to the feelings that I was experiencing.
We started watching "This Is Us" together on Amazon Prime as Mum had never watched it, and I just LOVED introducing this wholesome magical show to her, and getting to share the emotional moments with my mum. Really feeling the love.
This show always does this for me. Makes me really reflect on my life and my relationships. It outlines the effects of childhood experiences and how they effect us in such a beautiful way.
If you haven't ever watched it, I 100000% recommend.
I recorded this in April and it's taken me until now (mid June) to be able to share it. I still feel the resistance, especially after my last episode explaining where I am at and what has been going on for me lately. I have been feeling so very low and depressed and I haven't been able to "just" do anything.
But....
On that day in April I was feeling so empowered and pumped with life! This 16 min conversation flowed out of my mouth with ease and I was able to witness the contradictions and old stories as they played out in real time.
I am talking about the word "just" and how it can be perceived in many ways, but the energy of the JUST that I am talking about is one of empowerment, love and commitment to yourself.
When you are getting in your own way, it's really hard to get moving, to start, or take the next step, but I feel that this little word may be the inspiration to get the ball rolling.
Now, as I state in the episode, if your are really truly feeling the effects of paralysis, fear, freeze or depression, "just" get on with it is shocking advice and of course I urge you to ignore this!
However, if you are starting to feel the freeze thaw, the fear subside, and you sense there is maybe a version of you in there that wants to achieve more, do more, be more than your current reality would have you belive you are worthy of.... then... then I would say "just" do it. Just take the next step towards action and believing you can have anything you desire. You deserve it!
When life feels heavy, and your mind/situation/world feels dark and desperate, try not to judge your feelings and emotions. SOOOO much easier said than done, but it works.
Allowing the emotions to flow and observing them without judgment is one of the best ways to move out of the darkness that you may find yourself in.
Very recently, and still now at times, I feel totally lost, I don't know who I am, what I'm supposed to be doing and what I even have to offer the world. This dark night of the soul, depression, overwhelm bubble is so intense and thick there is no way to see the light.
But what this darkness is teaching us is that we have to sit in it. Stay still in it. FEEL it and allow it to wash over us and then wash away.
Then we can move. We can go for a walk. We can dance it out. We can run, stamp, jump and shout (if we have the energy)
FEELING the emotions before trying to move them through is the key here.
We often try and run away from the darkness, but let's all agree to sit here together for a moment shall we? It will move though much quicker.
The world is full of opposites and polarities and just as I say to SIT with it, if you have been SITTING with it for so long you have seized up, that is your sign to move.
If you are struggling and don't feel it letting up, please reach out to someone. Don't struggle alone. If you can get outside then do it. Smile at someone, it will be good for both of you. If you can move your body, move your body. If you can't do any of this go and seek a health care professional, and be really real with them about what you are going through. I pray they are able to hold space and point you in the right direction for support, if not, give someone like the Samaritans a call. Just don't go through it alone. We as humans aren't meant to be isolated and alone like we can be.
Disclaimer - I am not a health care professional, I can not diagnose someone and I can't give solutions or advise. This is just my feelings and opinions.

This is a waffly one, kind of processing out loud from todays inner reflections, but I think there are some nuggets in there regardless!
Feeling into the chaos of my inner teen, reflecting on the transition from childhood to teenage years. So much change and I think this is who is running the show for me some of the time in things like binge watching series, not eating well and not getting out for walks when I know I feel better for it.
Can you relate? Is your teen running the show?
This chat is a month on at the time of recording and then sharing and I am trusting that this needs to come out now and not then.
This chat with one of my Besties Pablo (aka Jade) is a flowing, fun. real, deep and slightly squeaky podcast all about Periods, Peri-menopause, PMS and the other things female cycle related.
Neither of us are experts in this, we are just riffing with what we know and what we have discovered about ourselves and our cycles and sharing our journeys in the hope it reaches others who have been wondering about their own fluctuating emotions or irregular periods.
This topic is a really bog one for me and a month on from this chat and nearing the "Winter" of my period season, and I have uncovered even more than I knew here.
We must always keep learning and challenging ourselves to go deeper within as this is truly where the magic is and answers lie!

Hello hello everyone and happy belated new year... albeit its the 31st January when I'm finally getting round to sharing these musing from December.
I was walking along the river one cold December morning and I was struck by the 'waves' in the river as the flowing water crashed into obstacles in it's path.
To me it seemed kind of symbolic and since this year has started with a bang for me and my girly, by getting 6 months notice on our home of 10 and a half years, I can certainly resonate with the words spoken here. Thanks Past Jen!
I hope you enjoy and let me know if it resonates.
Much love xx
