In this college football preview we focus on the Villanova Wildcats of FCS. Villanova went 10-4 a season ago (6-2 CAA) and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. This will be Villanova's final season as a member of the Colonial Athletic Association as in 2026 the Wildcats jump to the Patriot League. Matt Leon spoke with Villanova head coach Mark Ferrante to get some insight into the 2025 Wildcats.
Villanova will open its season on Saturday, September 6th at home against Colgate. That game will kickoff at 6:00 p.m.
