Marriage is the joining, merging, and mixture of two people in covenant relationship. A man and a woman with two sets of life experiences, traumatic events, social, cultural, physical, emotional, financial, and most importantly spiritual ideals become one.
It is important that we approach relationship with intentionality. The most important form human relationship is marriage. However, we don't tend to prioritize preparation. We can't cultivate strong/healthy relationships if we don't exercise the muscle. There were a few things we wish we understood before making one of the biggest relational decisions of our lives.
