Being thankful has a powerful effect on our bodies. Studies reveal gratefulness reduces stress and burnout, while enhancing happiness and emotional well-being. But it gets better. The studies also reveal women with high gratitude live about 9% longer on average, thus tying a link between a grateful mindset and an extended lifespan in older adults.
