The Reward of Obedience

Scripture: Deuteronomy 28:2 “And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.”

Feeding Your Faith with the Word of God

Scripture: Romans 10:17 – “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Faith is like a living muscle—it grows when it’s fed, and it weakens when it’s starved. Paul tells us in Romans 10:17 that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. That means if you want your faith to increase, you’ve got to stay on a steady diet of Scripture. You can’t live strong on yesterday’s revelation. Just like your body needs daily nourishment, your spirit needs daily Word.
