Our mini-series on eschatology continues with an overview of the schools of thought on studying end-times. While discussing the differences and similarities we offer our encouragement to continue to ask questions and seek your answers by digging into God’s Word, which we know has the ultimate authority. Do not feel obligated to fit yourself into one area of belief or another; it is perfectly okay to be unable to label yourself as anyone other than someone who loves and obeys the Lord and believes that Jesus is coming back. We talk a bit about all the noise that’s out there - what people are saying about real time events as they relate to end-times - simply to point out the need for true Biblical literacy. Your seeing and knowing comes from Holy Spirit who guides you in wisdom and discernment. The more you read your Bible the more familiar you are with His voice, and the deeper you get to know Him. We pray you lean on the Lord and what His Word says, and not the world.
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33

Season Two Finale
Through every single season we navigate, the Lord is faithful. He is purposeful, intentional, and He sees us and hears us. We read and study His Word to draw nearer to Him and to deepen our understanding of who God is. The more we study, the more we recognize His voice and identify our need for faithful obedience and trust in Him. In a world full of noise and distraction, let us rest in the peace and stillness of knowing that God is sovereign, and He will never, ever, fail.

As we are closing out our mini-series on Seasons, we continue the conversation by talking about those difficult seasons in life - things like betrayal, letting go, loss, grief, and difficult things about life in general. Through lots and lots of references to Scripture we emphasize the beauty in seeking the steady love of the Lord; the more you seek Him the more familiar you are with Him and in knowing just how personal and intimate His love is for you.
Did you know that as believers we are called to rejoice in our suffering? Any opportunity that we have to draw nearer to Jesus is a blessing, for it proves to us over and over and over again that we cannot do life fully without Jesus! This doesn’t mean these trials are easy or that our sincere feelings of pain and sadness are not real. These difficult seasons reveal just how much we need and depend on the Lord; and in our humble dependency comes faithful provision!
“We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5:3-5

We continue our mini-series on Seasons in our second podcast season about studying and applying God’s Word with an episode on God’s Calendar. As always, we use Scripture to point out the truth about time, seasons, and God’s intentionality throughout His creation, and in history. We discuss important Biblical events that took place during these specific times, and we even bring a bit of fun facts to the conversation - Did you know that up until the mid-18th Century many parts of Europe still considered the end of March as the beginning of the year? The calendar we follow now is based on a Roman calendar (Julian) and is an iteration of the Gregorian calendar, which not all countries and areas of the world follow. Grab your Bible and notebook and join the conversation with us.

Our children are blessings to be cherished and nurtured. Part of our role as mothers is not only the tender loving moments but also the going-to-battle in prayer moments and the unwavering seeking of the Lord moments. In part two of two of our discussion on the Division of the Nations we continue our explanation of the events of Genesis 11 - the Tower of Babel - through the clarifying lens of Deuteronomy 32. Here, Moses uses the division that occurred at the Tower of Babel as a teachable moment, a reminder to the Israelites to obey God’s commands. God’s disinheritance of the nations (and assignment to the sons of God) at Babel reminds us of God’s portion - Israel - and how His preservation points us to Jesus.

In part one of two of our discussion on the Division of the Nations we trace the origins of Babel, which was the epicenter of Nimrod’s kingdom and where the tower was built in an attempt to reach heaven. We give consideration to the state of the world in Noah’s day prior to the flood, connect the dots of lineage so as to understand the context of ancient Babylon, and in closing out part one we point to Deuteronomy 32, explaining its significance within the Biblical worldview.
