There’s something eternal about long sets — a story that unfolds in real time. Short ones? I’ll never quite get them. When I get the chance to open a night from silence — an empty floor slowly filling with people, conversations, and movement — it feels like magic.
Building from zero, giving space not only for dancing but also for wandering to the bar, socializing, or simply letting go... that’s pure nourishment for the mind and soul.
Last Saturday with @_simple.spaces_ was one of those nights where everything clicked. The crew created a space with such attention to detail that me lurking behind the decks felt effortless. For me, standing in the booth felt like slipping into a glove — finding the right groove and sharing it with the dancers through the night.
This is why I record my sets: to capture that energy, that imprint of what music really means — losing yourself in sound, disconnecting from the everyday, and entering a world built on sounds & beats.

Now that summer is gone and the dust has settled it’s time for musical update. To kick things off, we go with a recording from Solar Island: Sunset 2 Sunrise. The island has a magical meaning to me for obvious reasons and playing a sunset set from day to night was the perfect opportunity to go into more eclectic and elaborate blend of deep, melodic and progressive house.
Once @richiehawtin introduced @playdifferently MODEL1 mixer and its specific functionalities such as eq sculpting, 6-channels and advanced connectivity i always knew i’ve needed something like this to express myself on the next level. The amount of creativity flow that goes into a mixture of sounds with this piece of equipment simply makes the possibilities endless. Now, i come from house music background with big passion for all genres and i never understood how someone can go under one flag when electronic music is about the variety and of course, grooves. Playing before Rich creates a big space to be filled with music and freedom to do what i always love to do — build up things and go for a journey.
My relationship with @hernancattaneo transcends beyond all the club and festival gigs he’s had in Bulgaria. Somehow through the years we got closer & closer only driven through our passion for music. He took me under his wing and gave me massive amounts of wisdom in all different aspects of life. Kinda like a father figure but from the other side of the planet. That synergy transfers into our b2b sets in that special location that is St. Anastasia Island and every time it just makes these moments unique. There is no ego, no politics or whatever these days toxicity pollutes the scene, just a musical journey through the music we love. Happy to be able to share the recording with everyone for 3rd year in a row.
Hopefully we can do it again!

Do you know why True Love Never Dies?
It's because when you truly believe in something, it will never perish or disappear from your life.
I spent my life driven by that credo with no intention of change. It has never left me without a doubt in just a few (but very special) things i believe in.
Music has always been one of them. My partner in crime in life and the main way to express myself. As an introvert my social skills are never on high level,
but music made it possible for me to connect. It really IS an universal language.
I hope this musical trip down memory lane recorded 10 years ago on the same date today, will connect the same way as it did back then.
A long musical journey trademark by the nights of 'Blame' at Yalta Club, which will always have a special place in my heart.
