The Bottom Line For God's Blessing! P2
In this powerful message, Moses delivers one of the most important truths to God's people. Filled with urgency and love, Moses wants the next generation to avoid the failures of the past and walk fully in the blessing of God. We open our Bibles to Deuteronomy 6, where we find the bottom line, the most essential, most critical truth for experiencing God's favour. Moses won't enter the Promised Land himself, but he passionately points the people toward what truly matters: loving God with all your heart, soul, and strength. This is the theme passage for our series — Listen + Love — and in just three short verses, Moses gives us the core of what it means to live under God's blessing.

Watch Yourselves! P2
In this new series, Listen + Love: Learning from the Last Words of Moses, Pastor Robbie unpacks Moses' strong exhortation in Deuteronomy 4 to "watch yourselves very carefully." Why? Because forgetfulness leads to faithlessness. Moses knows that Israel's greatest threat isn't an outside enemy—it's their own wandering hearts. This is a call to stay awake, stay anchored, and stay faithful; a timely and sobering reminder for all who follow the Lord: Watch yourselves!

Why Partiality is a Problem P2
In today’s message, we’re diving into James 2:1–13, where James—led by the Holy Spirit—confronts a serious issue in the early Church: the sin of partiality. And this message is just as relevant now as it was then. Partiality means showing favouritism—treating people differently based on appearance, status, or wealth. James is clear: this behavior directly opposes the love of Christ. Jesus came to break down barriers, not build them. His gospel is for everyone—regardless of background, power, or position. When we show favoritism, we ignore God’s heart. We elevate ourselves instead of humbling ourselves before Him. As followers of Christ, we’re called to love our neighbors without bias, and to show mercy—just as we’ve received mercy from God.The truth is, we can’t follow Jesus while clinging to favouritism, division, or discrimination. So today, let’s open our hearts to God’s Word. How can we better love those around us—with mercy, without judgment, and without partiality? Stay with us as we explore this convicting and grace-filled passage in the book of James.

Be Doers of the Word P2
You may be able to talk the talk, but can you walk the walk? There is a reason people say that actions speak louder than words, and James would agree. In James 1:22-27, James shows his zealous heart for real fruit in genuine Christ followers. He calls us to be DOERS of the Word, not just HEARERS. The truth is, it can be easy to hear and do nothing. Some of us have done that for years - hearing sermons without letting them change our actions. James insists we have an outward demonstration of our inward faith, and if we don’t, we need to look in the biblical mirror. If our faith has no feet, then It is time for us to consider what it is we actually believe. Today’s message is about obedience, which stems from a love for our Saviour and not from ‘earning’ worth. Hearing, alone, does not make a Christ Follower - practical steps of obedience are the difference between life and death.

A Crash Course on Character P2
Today’s sermon, brings us to James 1:19-21, a crash course on character. James has been consistently firing massively important subjects at us so far in this series, and today is no exception. Again, James challenges us as believers to put feet to our faith and prove its authenticity through how we live. We aren’t saved to be dormant, we are saved to produce fruit! Character is a great indication of the fruit in our lives. Our character is best seen through how we listen, how we speak and how we address our anger. With clarity, James teaches we must be slow to speak and quick to hear - how often do we live like this command is reversed? We must TRASH our sin, and put on the Word of God. But if we want to do that, what anger needs to stop? What words need to stop? And what listening needs to start?

The Goodness of God P2
We live in a world saturated with deception—especially when it comes to the character of God. Culture often spreads lies, painting a distorted picture of who He is, even suggesting that He is capable of wrongdoing or harm. Christianity is frequently misrepresented in the media as a source of hatred and bigotry. But it’s precisely because of this confusion that God has given us His Word—to expose falsehood and fill our minds with truth. In this message, James 1:16–18, we are urged not to be deceived. Instead, we are called to renew our minds and remember what is actually true about our God. He is good, generous, trustworthy, faithful, and unchanging. Every good and perfect gift comes from Him—including all the blessings we enjoy in this life, and most importantly, the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. God, the “Father of Lights,” remains constant and unshaken in a world full of shifting values and unstable truths. In love, James reminds us today of the incredible God we serve—one who is always and only good.

Start Here: For Integrity P2
Integrity has been defined as "who you are when nobody is watching". Employees tell us that above all, integrity is the single most important characteristic in a leader. The world appreciates integrity, but it is deeply valued by God. The Lord gave us Jesus, the perfect picture of integrity. It is the foundation that allows us to trust in God without wavering. Today, Pastor Robbie examines Psalm 26 and living a life of integrity.

The Spiritual Reality of the Rich and Poor P2
Today’s message takes us to James 1:9–11. Known for its practical wisdom, the book of James is often called the "Proverbs of the New Testament," and today’s passage is a clear example. So far, we’ve looked at trials and wisdom—now James turns to the realities of wealth and poverty. While the world elevates the rich, God does the opposite. Earthly riches offer no spiritual advantage. In fact, even if we have nothing materially, we can have everything in Christ. The gospel reorients our view, reminding us that this world is temporary and our true worth is found in our identity in Him. Through salvation, regardless of status or income, we become co-heirs with Christ. Our bank accounts mean nothing in eternity. The question is—do we really believe that?

Need Wisdom? P2
Biblical wisdom is priceless—more valuable than gold. It spares us from needless pain, reveals God’s will, invites His blessing, and produces lasting fruit. Wisdom is seeing life from God’s perspective, and it’s something we especially need during trials. James 1:5–8 shows us how essential wisdom is, how to receive it, and how we sometimes miss it. Wisdom comes from God, and Jesus is the embodiment of that wisdom—so the more we pursue Him, the wiser we become. The good news? God wants to give us wisdom. But we must ask in faith, believing He will answer. Are we asking? Are we chasing more of Jesus? The wise person is listening—because they know how much they still need Him.

Finding Joy Within Trials P2
Today we begin a verse by verse study in the book of James. This series will challenge us to put our faith into action and allow the hard truths of James to convict and confirm that our faith is genuine. James speaks boldly, calling for lives that bear fruit and reflect true transformation. He opens his letter by encouraging believers who are facing trials—not by offering comfort alone, but by commanding us to consider it joy when we encounter them. But how can we possibly find joy in hardship? He opens his letter by encouraging believers who are facing trials—not by offering comfort alone, but by commanding us to consider it joy when we encounter them. But how can we possibly find joy in hardship? James reminds us that trials are actually opportunities—moments to align our thinking with God’s truth. Every challenge becomes a chance to discover a joy that is not fleeting but eternal. God allows trials because He is doing a deeper work in us, shaping us to be more like Christ. It’s through these trials that our faith is tested and refined, producing steadfastness that leads to spiritual maturity. As Charles Spurgeon once said, “Avoiding trials is avoiding God’s blessing.” So, how do you respond to the trials in your life? What greater work might God be doing in you through them?
