A cord cutting meditation is an energetic process where you’re able to cut the energetic ties that somebody has to you.
Every time you have a connection with any other human, whether it’s a quick conversation or a deeper relationship, you form esoteric cords between you and that person. Though you can’t see them, these energetic cords are keeping you connected, even if the person is miles away.
What can happen is that if you have energetic cords with someone who is negative or draining, you can be leaking energy to them, even if you’re not around each other.
You can have energetic cords with a partner or an ex-partner, with a parent, with a friend, with a co-worker — you never know how much of other people’s energies you’ve internalized until you cut the cords off!
