Introducing, Mechel Miller, An H.I.V. Survivor (Pt. 2)

In this podcast,  I continue the introduction of Mechel, the H.I.V. survivor who dares to live out loud. I delve into some not so pleasant childhood memories in my quest to grow up and live the good life I had envisioned for myself. This episode invites the listener take a peek at dreams of belonging to a "real" family almost cost me my life.

The podcast walks the listener through my ups and down with dealing with my diagnosis, living with the shame, and rising to the challenge to take control of my life by "Living Out Loud." It seeks to help others who are either affected or infected by sharing intimate (never revealed) details of how I am living proof, you can beat this. From time to time, I will invite special guests to talk freely in this safe space about their experiences with this disease as well.
