Affirmations for Developing Feelings of Peace — Especially on a Healing or Spiritual Path. As we grow, heal, and expand our awareness, we become more sensitive to the energy around us — and more aware of what disturbs our inner calm. Navigating Family Dynamics During the Holidays — Especially When You're on a Spiritual Path. The holiday season can be a beautiful time of connection — but it can also activate old patterns, wounds, and dynamics that leave even the most grounded people feeling pulled back into roles they’ve long outgrown. For anyone on a spiritual or personal growth journey, this time of year can feel especially intense. As your awareness grows, you may notice the subtle triggers, emotional pulls, or old family scripts that still get activated, even though you’ve done so much inner work.also see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egn9JOPVtrQ for dating and healing after a toxic relationship And while some people choose to step away from family gatherings completely, this video is for those who still maintain family connections but want to navigate the holidays with more clarity, boundaries, and emotional empowerment. In this video, we explore practical tools and mindful strategies to help you:• Stay grounded and centred in your own energy• Notice triggers without getting pulled back into old patterns• Communicate clearly and protect your emotional wellbeing• Manage difficult personalities and long-standing tensions• Honour your spiritual growth while still engaging with family• Move through the season with more peace, presence, and self-trustPsychological research shows that family-triggered stress can activate the body's survival systems, leading to emotional overwhelm, people-pleasing, shutdown, or conflict. But with the right tools, you can regulate your nervous system, maintain your boundaries, and stay connected to the version of yourself you’re becoming — not the one your family expects you to be.This is your reminder that you can grow, evolve, and transform… and still navigate family life with grace, strength, and self-awareness.Press play when you're ready to move through the holidays with more inner peace and personal power.✨ Continue Your Journey With Me-book a call below , or email me melgbb555@hotmail.comhttps://melaniegabbienterprises.com/book-a-callIf you’d like to go deeper with your personal growth, healing, and emotional wellbeing:📘 Explore my guided journals on Amazon — designed to help you process emotions, track triggers, and strengthen your inner resilience.https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=melanie+gabbi+journals&crid=34GUA4CVU1DKL&sprefix=melanie+gabbi+journals%2Caps%2C106&ref=nb_sb_nossYou don’t have to navigate stress alone — support is here whenever you need it.1. In a world where our minds are constantly overstimulated, learning to relax isn’t a luxury — it’s a necessity for mental health, emotional balance, and long-term wellbeing. Research in neuroscience and psychology shows that simple daily relaxation practices can regulate the nervous system, lower cortisol levels, improve sleep, and reset the brain’s stress response. In today’s video, I’m sharing five simple, science-backed techniques that help you unwind, calm your body, and create a sense of inner ease. These practices work because they support the parasympathetic nervous system — the “rest and restore” mode — helping your mind shift out of tension, overwhelm, and survival mode. Here’s what relaxation can help you with:• Lowering stress and anxiety• Reducing muscle tension and physical fatigue• Improving focus, clarity, and emotional stability• Supporting better sleep and recovery• Enhancing resilience and overall wellbeingRelaxation isn’t about escaping your life — it’s about recalibrating your energy so you can think clearly, feel grounded, and move through your day with more confidence and calm. These simple practices are designed to fit into busy lives and support you whether you’re navigating work pressures, family demands, or personal change.Press play and give yourself permission to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your inner balance.please like subscribe and press the bell so that i can get the message out to more people -thanks for listening ✨ Continue Your Journey With Me-book a call below , or email me melgbb555@hotmail.comhttps://melaniegabbienterprises.com/book-a-callIf you’d like to go deeper with your personal growth, healing, and emotional wellbeing:📘 Explore my guided journals on Amazon — designed to help you process emotions, track triggers, and strengthen your inner resilience.https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=melanie+gabbi+journals&crid=34GUA4CVU1DKL&sprefix=melanie+gabbi+journals%2Caps%2C106&ref=nb_sb_noss
This morning mindset is all about cultivating gratitude — one of the most powerful ways to shift your mood and reset your nervous system. Cultivating gratitude isn’t just a “nice idea” — it’s one of the most powerful practices for improving your mental, emotional, and even physical wellbeing. Research shows that when we intentionally shift our focus toward what’s working, what’s supportive, and what brings us joy or meaning, our nervous system responds. Gratitude activates brain regions linked with emotional regulation, deepens connection, and helps us feel more grounded and resilient.Studies from positive psychology and neuroscience highlight that people who regularly practice gratitude experience:• Reduced stress and anxiety• Improved mood and higher levels of optimism• Better quality sleep• Greater resilience through difficult times• Stronger relationships and deeper feelings of connectionBoosting gratitude doesn’t mean ignoring pain or pretending everything is perfect. Instead, it’s a gentle retraining of the mind — helping you notice nourishing moments, recognise your own strengths, and shift from survival mode into a more empowered state. In today’s video, I guide you through simple tools and practices to elevate your gratitude, calm the mind, and create a deeper sense of emotional wellbeing. Whether you’re rebuilding after stress, navigating relationships, or stepping into a new chapter, gratitude can help you reconnect with your inner stability and clarity. Here’s your 2-minute practice:1. Place your hand on your heart.Feel the warmth.2. Think of 3 things you’re grateful for today.Small things count the most.3. Say:‘Thank you for this moment.’Gratitude softens the mind and expands the heart.✨ COMMENT:What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?please like subscribe and press the bell so that i can get the message out to more people -thanks for listening ✨ Continue Your Journey With Me-book a call below , or email me melgbb555@hotmail.comhttps://melaniegabbienterprises.com/book-a-callIf you’d like to go deeper with your personal growth, healing, and emotional wellbeing:📘 Explore my guided journals on Amazon — designed to help you process emotions, track triggers, and strengthen your inner resilience.https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=melanie+gabbi+journals&crid=34GUA4CVU1DKL&sprefix=melanie+gabbi+journals%2Caps%2C106&ref=nb_sb_noss

This is a tough one for many people when the holidays approach . Often we feel obliged or even guilt tripped into visiting family, But after years of working in children's services I saw how many families can be chaotic, dysfunctional or have parents who might act in ways that we could consider narcissist . So wow do we manage or even deal with these kinds of situations. Below are some idea, its not a comprehensive approach but it might just get you though a few days and come out the other side not exhausted but more proud of what you are able to accomplish each time . It takes time to learn that arguing a point, or trying to get them to understand you or see your view can be waisted air and just lead to exhaustion. so i hope this helps. Also see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Egn9JOPVtrQ for how to heal after toxic relationships This is a big one.If one of your parents is a narcissist — holidays can feel emotionally exhausting. Here are three grounding tools:1. Lower Your ExpectationsNarcissistic parents don’t suddenly become self-aware in December.Expect less — and feel more empowered.2. Use Detached ObservationImagine watching their behaviour from a distance. You’re not responsible for their emotions.3. Have an Exit StrategyA walk outside, a phone call, stepping into another room.Create safety for yourself.Your peace matters more than their reaction.✨ COMMENT:If this resonates, you’re not alone.
In this episode I dive into what I’m calling “The Great Cosmic Twist” — because the midlife we were sold? It doesn’t look like what many of us are actually living. No sudden red sports car. No dramatic sky‑diving moment. Instead, a nervous system in recovery. A soul asking: Is this all there is?If you’re in your 40s or 50s, maybe you’ve ticked the boxes: career, family, roles. Yet something's stirring. Maybe you’re looking at your life and wondering: Who am I really? What do I want next?I share deeply from my own life — the car accident that shook me, the burnout, the shift from full throttle to slower rhythm. I talk about the conditioning that shaped our early lives (culture, family, expectations) and the emergence of a deeper, soul‑led impulse that wants more than survival. You’ll hear about:The narrative around midlife we absorb (and often reject)How the inner “nudge” starts, even when everything looks “fine”
The interplay of roles, identity, bodies, hormones, and timeWhy rest, slowing down, curiosity, and presence are not luxury — they’re essentialAnd how midlife isn’t the end of the story — it’s the opening of a new oneIf you’re ready to question the “should”, honour what’s real for you, and begin living more aligned with your truth — you’re in the right place. How Parents Can Thrive During the Holidays — Protect Your Peace, Energy, and Wellbeing .
