224. You’re Not Done: How to Reflect on a Hard Year Without Losing Yourself

This episode is a pause.

Before you rush into the next year…
Before you label this season a failure…
Before you disqualify yourself because things didn’t go as planned…

I need you to hear this clearly:

You’re not done.

In this deeply personal episode of Mind Bully, I reflect on the past year — a year marked by grief, loss, unanswered prayers, unmet goals, and quiet growth no one else could see. I talk openly about losing my sister, losing my grandmother, setting goals I didn’t “achieve,” and wrestling with the voice that tries to tell you it’s over.

But I also expose the lie hiding underneath that voice.

Because what looks like delay…
What feels like failure…
What sounds like defeat…

Might actually be foundation.

  • Why labeling this year as a “failure” can cripple your future

  • How grief and growth can exist at the same time

  • The difference between outcome goals and identity formation

  • Why spiritual warfare often targets your mind before your momentum

  • What to do when everything in you wants to retreat

  • How God may have used you this year in ways you didn’t notice

  • Why your “unfinished” goals don’t mean you’re unfinished

I also share a real, unexpected moment of divine timing — a reminder that your obedience, consistency, and quiet faith are impacting people you may never see.

If you’re ending this year tired…
Disappointed…
Confused…
Or questioning yourself…

This episode is for you.

Don’t rush past what this season was building in you.
You’re not done — because God’s not done.

223. Why Strong People Feel So Alone (And What God Is Doing in the Silence)

In this deeply vulnerable episode of the Mind Bully Podcast, Norense Odiase speaks to the person who is always strong for others — but quietly struggling inside.

After a year marked by unimaginable loss, grief, and isolation, Norense opens up about what it feels like to keep showing up when the people you poured into don’t show up for you. He unpacks the hidden weight carried by leaders, creators, and “the strong friend,” and asks the honest question many are afraid to say out loud:

Where is God when everything hurts and no one seems to see you?

This episode explores grief, faith, pride, identity, and the quiet seasons where God is doing deep internal work — even when life doesn’t make sense. If you’ve ever felt alone in a crowded room, spiritually numb, or pressured to uphold an image while breaking inside, this conversation will meet you exactly where you are.

  • Why strong people often feel the most isolated

  • How grief exposes where we’ve tied our identity

  • The danger of pride disguised as “having it together”

  • Why silence doesn’t mean God is absent

  • How faith looks when answers don’t come

  • Learning to walk forward without full understanding

  • Letting go of old identities that no longer fit

  • “God sees you — even when people don’t.”

  • “Strength doesn’t mean you don’t need support.”

  • “Isolation can be a season of formation, not punishment.”

  • “You don’t have to understand to keep walking.”

  • “The shoes that fit you before may not fit this version of you.”

Mind Bully
222. Is Marriage the Goal… or Is Love the Standard?

You are not a failure.
Not because you’re still single.
Not because your timeline doesn’t match everyone else’s.
Not because life hasn’t unfolded the way you imagined.

In this vulnerable, unfiltered episode of the Mind Bully Podcast, Norense Odiase dismantles one of the quietest but most damaging lies many people carry:
that love, marriage, or relationship status determines your worth.

Fresh off attending a wedding and navigating the emotional aftermath of comparison, pressure, and internal questioning, Norense speaks directly to the person who goes home wondering:

“What’s wrong with me?”
“Why am I still here?”
“Why does everyone else seem ahead?”

This episode is a reminder that timing is not failure, singleness is not deficiency, and comparison is not truth. Through faith, lived experience, and honest reflection, Norense reframes love, identity, and calling — pointing listeners back to God as the true standard, not culture, family pressure, or social media narratives.

If you’ve ever felt behind, overlooked, or quietly ashamed because your life doesn’t look like everyone else’s — this episode is for you.

What This Episode Centers On

  • Why relationship pressure makes people mislabel themselves as “failures”
  • How comparison distorts identity and creates unnecessary shame
  • The danger of rushing timing just to feel validated
  • Why marriage is not the proof of God’s favor
  • How culture confuses status with calling
  • Learning to trust God’s preparation process instead of fighting it
  • Why who you’re becoming matters more than what you have

Key Quotes

  • “You’re not behind — you’re being built.”
  • “Timing is not rejection.”
  • “Marriage is not the measure of your worth.”
  • “Comparison makes you abandon who you are to chase who you’re not.”
  • “There is nothing wrong with you.”

Listener Takeaway

If you’ve been carrying quiet shame because your life doesn’t look how you thought it would by now — release it.
You are not late.
You are not less than.
You are not a failure.

You are in process.

Mind Bully
221. YOU'RE NOT A FAILURE (YOU'RE FIGHTING A LIE)

In one of the most honest, practical, and spirit-filled episodes of the Mind Bully Podcast, Norense Odiase dismantles the lie that you’re failing in life.

You’re not failing — you’re hiding. You’re comparing. You’re doubting the very tools God already placed in your hands.

Through real stories, raw confession, scripture, humor, grief, and spiritual clarity, Norense breaks down how shame, negative self-talk, perfectionism, comparison, and rejection twist your perspective and make you believe you’re behind.

But God has already equipped you. He already called you. And He expects you to use what’s in your hand — not what you wish you had.

This episode is a mirror and a wake-up call. If you’re tired, isolated, battling intrusive thoughts, struggling with relationships, grieving losses, or feeling stuck creatively or spiritually… this conversation will pull you back into truth, identity, discipline, and love.

Mind Bully
220. Why You Don't Feel Like Yourself Anymore

In a world where opinions shift by the hour and culture normalizes anything and everything, how do you stay rooted in who you are and what you believe?

In this powerful episode of the Mind Bully Podcast, Norense Odiase delivers a prophetic reminder for anyone stepping into a new season: your life will only grow as deep as your convictions.

Drawing from Scripture, personal pain, spiritual growth, and the chaos of modern society, Norense exposes the lies shaping today's culture—and the silent slide of sin that pulls people away from purpose. He challenges listeners to build convictions rooted not in trends, feelings, or societal pressure, but in the unchanging truth of Christ.

This episode is part teaching, part testimony, and part wake-up call. If you feel confused, empty, spiritually dull, or pressured to “go with the flow,” this conversation will strengthen your foundation and direct your steps heading into the new year.

Mind Bully
219. Stop Asking Why and Start Walking

(Apologies for the sound quality)

In this powerful and deeply emotional episode of the Mind Bully Podcast, Norense Odiase confronts the three–letter question that haunts us in seasons of grief, stagnation, and spiritual warfare: WHY?

Why did this happen?

Why now?

Why me?

Why can’t I move forward?

Speaking transparently about losing his grandmother and sister in the same year, Norense opens up about the pain, the questions, the nights of crying, and the waves of grief that still hit without warning. But instead of staying stuck in the “why,” he walks us into a deeper truth: God doesn’t require us to understand—He requires us to move.

This episode is a wake-up call to stop hiding your gift, stop negotiating with fear, and stop agreeing with the lies of the enemy. Through Moses’s story, scripture, and raw personal reflection, Norense reminds you that everything God placed in your hands is already enough — and your calling is still active, even in your lowest season.

If you’re battling discouragement, loss, confusion, or spiritual heaviness, this conversation will remind you of your authority, identity, and purpose in Christ.
