Interview w/ Ramon Reed
Host Julana Dizon sits down with Ramon Reed! A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ramon Reed began acting at the age of five in community plays through his school, church and with Porch Productions. In 2015, his starring role as Donkey in a North Carolina Children's Theater summer camp production of "Shrek Jr." sparked a more serious desire and love for acting. In 2017, he decided to give acting a real shot and auditioned for Disney’s "The Lion King" musical. He landed the role as Young Simba and toured with their North American Rafiki Company. He performed in 13 cities for 10 months and appeared in four out of eight shows each week. While on tour, Reed was asked to join the award-winning musical on Broadway, where he performed as Young Simba for three more months before he landed his role on "Just Roll With It." Reed stars as Owen Blatt, an accomplished student who thrives on detailed schedules and being highly-organized, in Disney Channel's "Just Roll With It." The first-of-its-kind series is a hybrid of a scripted family comedy and an improvisational comedy in which the studio audience members vote on the outcome of certain scenes. When Reed is not on stage or in front of a camera, he can be found singing, inspiring others, having Nerf wars, playing board games, go-karting, shooting basketball or playing with his baby sister, Skylar. He also loves spending time sharing jokes with his family and friends, whether he is at home or exploring the city. Reed is a Sickle Cell Anemia warrior and is an advocate for those who live with the disorder. Determined not to let his condition define him, Reed wants to inspire others to continue to pursue their dreams – no matter what life throws their way. Interview w/ Camerone Parker
Host Julana Dizon sits down with Camerone Parker! Camerone Parker, who has emerged as the leading powerful celebrity voice in patient advocacy for MS and treatment. Today, she delights audiences nationwide as a highly in-demand speaker, sharing her unbelievable story of being diagnosed with MS and hiding the disease in a highly competitive world of international fashion so that she could earn money to pay for treatment. Having been featured throughout her storied modeling career in over 350 magazines, the former face of Olay has walked the runways for designers like Vera Wang, Giorgio Armani, and Bagley Mischka, to name a few. She's been seen on billboards around the country for brands like Ralph Lauren POLO and has made appearances on "Good Morning America," "The Today Show," "The View" and more. But while she's lived a very public life, she's guarded quite the secret. While at the highest point of her modeling career, Camerone was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. Because of the costs of care-one of her medications was $65,000 a year-she chose to keep her illness a secret and continue working. Now she is passionate about helping find a cure. In that arena, it is without a doubt that she is making a real impact. Camerone has raised millions of dollars for various charities and never charges a speaker's fee. Of course, fashion is still very much a part of her life and one of the things she's quite passionate about. She was recently featured in the New York Times for her jaw-dropping appearance at NY Fashion Week, and has returned to the runway, calling it one of the proudest moments of her career. She also has quite the collection of couture and vintage finds in her closet. These days there is no "typical" day for Camerone, except that she is living life to the fullest and enjoying life as a newlywed. And although she's lived quite the jet-setting lifestyle, she is incredibly down to earth. When she isn't traveling, she and her husband spend their time in Phoenix or their second home in Sedona. Symera has already tallied up quite the impressive resume at such a young age. She is credited in multiple commercials alongside powerhouse names, such as Kristen Bell, Wayne Brady and Jim Carson. Mini Spotlights - AfterBuzz TV
Interview w/ Paxton Booth | AfterBuzzTV Mini Spotlight On
Young and daring actor Paxton Booth is making waves in the entertainment industry through his philanthropic pursuits and work as a series regular on Disney Channel’s Coop & Cami Ask The World. Paxton stars alongside castmates Ruby Rose Turner, Dakota Lotus, Albert Tsai, Olivia Sanabia and Rebecca Metz. The show follows a brother-sister duo who make almost all of their decisions — both mundane and madcap — by crowdsourcing opinions from the millions of followers on their online channel ‘Would You Wrather.’ Paxton plays ‘Ollie Wrather,’ the fearless and enthusiastic younger brother of the duo and oftentimes the test-pilot for the more wild stunts (that Paxton carries out himself) of their online show. The popular Disney Channel series recently premiered its second season on October 5th, 2019. Although young, Paxton is no newcomer to gracing TV screens. As a talkative toddler with a love for being in front of the camera, he began his professional acting career at just 2 ½ years old near his hometown of Ventura, CA. He has since made appearances in dozens of national commercials and landed several guest star roles on popular TV shows including NBC’s Emmy-award winning sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine, ABC’s The Real O’Neals, Amazon’s The Romanoffs, TV Land’s Teachers, and ABC’s unscripted series The Toy Box as a judge. While on set, Paxton never shies away from an exciting stunt thrown his way. Although he doesn’t have any formal stunt training, he has carried out several stunts on the set of Coop & Cami with the supervision of a stunt coordinator. Paxton’s fearless nature translates both on and off set, as he has been riding BMX bikes since the age of 3 – without ever learning to ride a bike with training wheels. Racing his BMX bike through skateparks and pump tracks has helped Paxton as an actor by increasing his body awareness. While, his love of automobiles also runs the course of a smaller, plastic track – with his collection of over 1,200 Hot Wheels. Having spent countless hours at car shows and museums, he has developed an immersive knowledge of classic cars, noting details on every single one of his Hot Wheels toys. Paxton has recently served as the youngest judge to-date throughout the ongoing 2019 Hot Wheels Legends Tour – alongside Jay Leno, Adam Carolla, etc. Beyond car museums, Paxton has an admiration for the arts and loves visiting both classic and street art museums. He also has a fascination with less artistically praised ‘50s black and white horror films, such as Plan 9 from Outer Space. Captivated by the horror genre, Paxton deeply admires the directorial style of Tim Burton and dreams of being cast in one of his films. Paxton also loves listening to ‘80s rock music, often jamming out to David Bowie. As a fashionable youngster, he admires Bowie’s standout style and strives to match his confidence of wearing whatever he wants. Paxton often advocates that fashion should not have gender labels. Eventually, he would love to have his own clothing line of gender neutral eccentric styles that can ultimately help prevent bullying for young kids. Outside of Paxton’s passions for art and activities, he loves getting hands-on with philanthropic pursuits. He actively supports charitable causes surrounding animal rescue (such as the two rescue pit bulls he grew up with, and the local LA animal rescue Paw Works), bringing happiness to other children that are ill/underprivileged, and spreading the importance of environmental awareness. He hopes to use his growing platform and voice to speak up for these philanthropic causes, the arts and promoting individuality at any age. Learn more about your ad choices. Mini Spotlights - AfterBuzz TV
Interview w/ Michelle Danner | AfterBuzzTV Mini Spotlight On
There aren’t many people who can point to a career full of success as a performer, teacher, storyteller, entrepreneur, and expert.  But Michelle Danner can. The legendary acting teacher and co-founder of the Edgemar Center for the Arts and the Los Angeles Acting Conservatory, Danner’s also now well-established as a successful feature film director.  Her latest completed film, “Bad Impulse,” is a psychological thriller about family secrets and modern technology, starring Sonya Walger, Grant Bowler, and Paul Sorvino; and she’s set to begin shooting “The Runner,” an action thriller and true-life coming of age story about a troubled teenager forced to go undercover to expose a drug kingpin. A dedicated mom (with one son who is an aspiring filmmaker), Danner still has her “day job” – overseeing the faculty of the Los Angeles Acting Conseratory, and conducting her weekly acting class. Danner’s list of students has included Christian Slater, Salma Hayak, Gerard Butler, Seth McFarlane, Penelope Cruz, Chris Rock, Gabrielle Union, and Zooey Deschanel.  A longtime student of legendary acting teachers like Stella Adler and Uta Hagen, Danner’s eclectic approach (which she calls “The Golden Box”) allows actors the freedom to employ a wide variety of techniques. Raised in a show business family and with a deep appreciation for all of the performing arts, Danner also continues to run the boutique “Cinema at the Edge” film festival (scheduled for February 2020), and is currently preparing to direct a new one-person play, Bonnie Culver’s “Norris,” starring Anne Archer, based on the memoirs of the widow of writer Norman Mailer. Simply put, there’s almost no one in the business who knows as much about acting and success as Michelle Danner – and her continued success in multiple creative fields makes her one of the most successful women working in the industry today. Mini Spotlights - AfterBuzz TV
Chad Michael Collins Interview | AfterBuzz TV Mini Spotlight
Chad Michael Collins’ career and work ethic can be defined in two words: action packed. Chad is most recognized for his starring role as ‘Gunnery Sgt. Branden Beckett’ in Sony’s guerilla warfare film franchise “Sniper.” The series is set to film it’s fifth installment this Fall 2019. Additionally, Chad will star as one of the lead characters, ‘Alex,’ in Activision’s newest installment of their hugely popular military first-person-shooter franchise “Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare.” Releasing October 25th, the highly anticipated video game will be available to play on all major consoles and PC. Fans and gamers alike have been waiting for the next installment of Activision’s best-selling series for eight years. The new game will feature familiar characters from the original trilogy that sold over 100-million combined units worldwide, but gamers will also be able to play as Chad’s character ‘Alex’ throughout the entire single-player storyline. In order to create Activision’s most realistic and cinematic video game to date, Chad was filmed as ‘Alex’ in a full face-motion-performance capture and then voiced the character. He also trained with former Navy Seals to prepare for the high-resolution fighting scenes and mission segues featured within the game. Outside of the two major military-based franchises, Chad may also look familiar from his many successful sci-fi and thriller TV spots over the years. Recently, Chad has held recurring sci-fi roles on both Hulu’s series “Freakish” (alongside Liza Koshy) and BYU TV’s series “Extinct.” He has additionally made appearances in popular TV shows including: “Once Upon A Time” (playing Frankenstein’s Monster/Gerhart), “Two Broke Girls,” “MacGyver,” “CSI: Miami,” “CSI: New York,” “NCIS,” “90210,” “Blue Bloods,” “Castle,” “Bones” and more. His film credits include the action-horror-western “High Moon” (alongside Sean Patrick Flanery), as well as playing ‘Dr. Sloane’ in AMC Shudder Network's “Creepshow” (tapping ‘The Walking Dead’ EP Greg Nicotero). While born and raised in upstate NY, Chad currently resides in LA. Outside of filming, Chad is a self-proclaimed weekend warrior. He loves to stay in shape by playing on his league basketball team and boxing. He is an avid reader of comic books, the fantasy genre, and loves to get lost in with Bernard Cornwell’s collection of historical fiction. Chad also enjoys getting his game on with World of Warcraft, Dungeons & Dragons, retro 8-and-16-bit throwbacks, and Magic: The Gathering. #Celebrity #Discussion #Interview Make sure to subscribe to AfterBuzz! - http://youtube.com/afterbuzztv Learn more about your ad choices. She also appears as a scholar opposite Salma Hayek and Owen Wilson in writer/director Mike Cahill’s science fiction drama, Bliss; she plays the lead skydiver in the upcoming horror thriller, Hex; and in Rogue Warfare, she’s a traumatized middle eastern mother whose entire family is wiped out in a terror attack that takes her life as well. A half-Lebanese native of Mission, British Columbia, Kayla always knew she wanted to be an actress. However, there were few opportunities in her quaint community in Western Canada. After spending six lively months in Australia after high school graduation, she returned and entered the Vancouver Film School, where she began to actively explore an acting career. After successful commercial work, her first television break was The Actress Diaries, a show business television series in which she won the part of a snarky young actress caught up in the complexity of the audition process. One of her first film roles was the part of Kelly the waitress opposite Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
