Jackson County Central dominated the statistics but Goodhue did have a chance to win. The Huskies win their second straight state title denying Goodhue their third state crown. The final score was 20-15 at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

Key season opener for both teams because they are in the same section. It was tight throughout until the Falcons pulled away late by hitting some free throws. Falcons Amira Williams nearly hit a half-court shot to end the first half.

Goodhue punched their ticket to the Prep Bowl with a 27-4 win over Holdingford at US Bank Stadium holding a team that averaged over 45 points a game to a single score.

The Raiders survive in an incredible finish against the Huskies.

Caledonia Warriors dominated in the second half against a very good Triton Cobras team.

The #3 seed Knights sweep #14 Faribault Bethlehem Academy in this entertaining match in the Castle. Both teams played well without a lot of errors. The better team won with the second set the most exciting of the night, Long volleys were experienced at times.

The Cobras pitched a 28-0 shutout to advance to the semifinals Saturday against perennial power Caledonia.

The Raiders and Huskies went toe to toe in Northfield in this five set thriller. Two of the sets went to overtime including the 5th set which was captured by the Raiders. Northfield's fourth consecutive Big Nine Conference volleyball title and third straight year with no losses in the conference. The Raiders lost just 3 sets in the Big Nine and the Huskies fell in 6 sets the entire conference season.

The Castle was rocking during this rivalry match that went five sets.

The Cobras continued their impressive season with a win over a very good Eagles team with Randy Sobrack on the call.

Triton Cobras put caused a hush in the Castle with a sweep of the Knights. With the win they pull into a tie with K-W for the Gopher Conference lead. All sets were close and some incredible volleyball was played in this one, particularly by Triton. Their junior setter, Reagan Essig was exceptionally good saving errant passes and digging kill attempt after kill attempt by Kenyon-Wanamingo.

The Cardinals invade the Tigers Den on Senior Night in Medford. The Tigers had a happy night with a four set win. The first set went to overtime in this exciting Gopher Conference showdown.
