Have a blessed day
This is a highly selfish podcast episode that I desperately need to hear. Funnily, more than often that is the kind of episode others get value out of as well.
So here’s to mastering the art of losing well, with dignity, grace, and a huge amount of “bounce back”.
Enjoy,

Today’s episode starts out pretty normy and gets a little out there in the later part. But … what else would you expect?

What is the Gayatri Mantra? Where did it come from? Who made it? Why is the Gayatri Mantra so rad?
Episode 80 is a deep dive into my history and experience with this miraculous prayer. The second half of the talk is the origin story of the Gayatri Mantra - a compelling tale of the sage Vishwamrita and his transformation from a not-so-cool warrior king into a full-blown Brahma Rishi.
This episode is the first I have recorded and filmed at the same time. So pardon if I get a bit distracted at times, this was new to me - looking at my face while talking. Or actually trying not to look at my face while talking.
Also please pardon the interruption about 3/4 of the way through. An Amazon delivery showed up during a particularly gripping part of the story, so I paused the video.
Enough apologies, I hope you enjoy the episode.

Om Swami's Book "The Hidden Power of the Gayatri Mantra"
Today’s episode is about a remarkable conversation I had with a truly remarkable man named Alex. Alex has been a minimalist nomad (or what many would call “homeless”) since undergoing a series of profound psychedelic experiences in San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury district in 1968.
This was one of those conversations you are blessed to have which leave such an impression that you can’t help but share it with whomever might listen.
So listen up, thanks for tuning in, and as Alex did…. Dropping out…
