Self Discovery is not a finite process that produces some kind of singular revelation. It is something that continually evolves throughout your life, and requires you to put in the work and intentions toward unraveling it at different stages of your life. This week we talk about how Self Discovery can be broken down into two questions you should ask yourself: "Who am I" and "Where am I"? Working toward developing a schedule that works best for you is a vital way to navigate through these questions and pursue Self Discovery.
The Word for this year is "go", and this can mean something different for each and every person. This word came to me from a lot of prayer and meditation, and the word "go" has to do with three different categories: "Going With Faith", "Going With Love", and "Going With Intention"...
Taking a step back and seeing how you balance life as a whole, and how that space is always shifting and changing. Imagining what a balanced lifestyle is for you, and realize that everyone's idea of balance is different, so don't fall into the trap of comparing yourself to others. Assess what is the most important thing to you and your priorities, and cut out what is unimportant or not a priority. Give yourself time for rest and balance your free time, using it wisely.
As a somewhat continuation from last week, Emotional Balance will be a positive skill to learn as you make your way to your goals. Having a better mindset on how you control and balance your emotions, can help prevent road blocks that might not even be there, you'll find once you've learned more on how to hone this skill, there might be concerns and worries of yours that were just that, concerns while the truth remains different.
Reflect on what keeps you upright and steady and/or balance? Ex. Faith, Family, Relaxation, Friends It’s ok for those portions to shift daily; they will rarely be equally tended to on a day-to-day basis. Boundaries: Work on prioritizing your list of to-dos daily Never let anyone's urgency throw you completely off balance - it's ok for it to rock the boat but don’t let it sink your ship
