More than Motherhood is where friendship, sisterhood, and real talk meet. Hosted by Lola, Dolly & Melanie, three mums whose bond goes way beyond nappies, night feeds, and milestones.
Each week, we bring our everyday group-chat energy to life: the laughs, the debates, the honesty, and the beautiful chaos of motherhood while diving into everything else that makes us who we are.
From relationships and self-care to random banter, big feelings, and real-life wins and struggles, this is about celebrating the women we are outside of being mums while keeping it fun, relatable, and unapologetically real.

This week we talk about the cost of having a baby, from nappies to formula, clothes, and the never-ending cycle of babies outgrowing things almost as soon as you buy them.
We discuss the things we felt pressured to buy, the pursuit of premium brands, and the realisation that a lot of it wasn’t actually needed once we were in it.
Join Dolly, Mel and Lola as we talk about money and motherhood.

The Week We Discussed the Past, Present & Future...
Join Lola, Melanie and Dolly for this Christmas special where we exchange gifts and wish our MtM village a very happy Christmas and enjoyable festive break!
This week we discussed our personal traditions and cultures. We reflect and discuss the traditions from our childhood and the ones we're taking forward (plus any new ones!) with our families. We also discuss our cultural identities and the role it plays in how we raise our daughters taking into account the past, present and the future.
As usual, you can expect fun banter, hilarious anecdotes and fun facts that need to be defended (Lola, we're speaking to you!)
Join our village! We want to hear from you - the good, the bad and the ugly.

Trigger Warning: This week we discuss themes of baby loss, premature birth and hospital negligence. Please watch/listen remembering to acknowledge your own feelings and boundaries
This week we looked back at our expectations of pregnancy, labour and postpartum. We discuss how we expected to feel during pregnancy, what we expected our labour to be like and how that 4th trimester crept up on us... Spoiler alert: Nothing went to plan! We tackle these serious topics with our usual humour, banter and end with gratitude on where we are now and the sisterhood that emerged in that 4th trimester.

This week we discuss and defend whether we're doing enough in all aspects of our lives. We explore Melanie's very relatable feeling of her brain never switching off, Lola's habitual night owl tendencies and Dolly's reluctant acceptance of controlled disorganisation.
You'll first find out the last song we listened to on Spotify and end by relating to one or maybe all of us enjoying belly laughs along the way, as you join our groupchat virtually.
(spoiler: our Spotify ages are right!)

The Week We Became Main Characters... Again!
This week we ask ourselves, "how would you describe yourself pre & post motherhood" and the answers definitely gave us food for thought. From asserting that our entire personalities don't revolve around our toddler bosses, and discussing possible self-care activities, we rediscover and reaffirm who Lola, Dolly and Melanie are (aside from mothers!)
You'll find out hilarious fun facts about each us, relate to feelings of finding self and enjoy belly laughs as you join our groupchat virtually.
