In today's episode we are joined by fellow mama, Soni Tarrant. Soni is a mother of 2 young boys and lives on the Gold Coast with her family. Soni has been a strength & fitness coach for over 10 years, and a Beauty Therapist since 2009. Since having her own children, Soni discovered the importance of carving out time for herself in order to fill her cup and become the best parent she could be. Since becoming a parent, she designed her own exercise programming around low impact, quick home workouts that encompass a postpartum program as well as 6 week challenges all through her own app. She also has a recipe book and e-books for pre/postpartum care. She also runs her own business part-time where she pampers and supports women in their beauty/self care journeys.
So, in this episode Soni shares with us her journey into motherhood, the challenges she had to navigate postpartum and how that has propelled her into creating these resources for mums. Soni shares with us her very relatable and realistic approach to self-care in motherhood and how she manages to implement her own self-care/self-worth practices into her day-to-day routine as a mum. She touches on the importance of having some form of routine that works for you and the ripple effect this has had onto her children and how she shows up in motherhood.
