KILLER: Michael Alig and the Club Kids

New York City in the late 80s and 90s was full of drugs, sex and nightlife. The Club Kids were a group of eccentric partiers who started a cultural movement in New York nightlife and became national sensations, inspiring LGBTQ youth all around America to celebrate their differences. The leader of the Club Kids, Michael Alig, quickly became addicted to drugs and murdered one of his own members, Andre "Angel" Melendez.

Keep up with the true crime cases we will be covering weekly on our instagram @murderliciouspodcast or send us an email to murderliciouspodcast@gmail.com to give us suggestions of your favorite cases or your thoughts and theories! Photos of this case will be up on our instagram so go check it out.
