Tocc talks to us about what it really means to be a Flyer, how he became the 25th head coach in the history of the Flyers, and a couple of his philosophies and how important trust is in an organization and with his players. Rick addresses coaching players with elite skill, dumping the puck, and Matvei Michkov’s comments about dumping the puck. Jumping ahead Tocchet gives us the rundown on his assistant coaches, Flyers power play struggles, a few key points he stresses as a coach, Development Camp, Alex Bump and Spencer Gill, the Flyers new fighting coach, and expectations for captain Sean Couturier.
