On what will be an epic night for Tubi, the guys are celebrating all the year’s movie reviews with a thrilling awards show.

Tradition means everything around the NTS offices. So, anyone seeking surprises might be disappointed. But those who like fake Jeopardy, a few memories, and a group-led Christmas story? Yeah, you’re digging in the right stocking.

Matt is gone! Well, for two weeks anyway. But that didn’t stop the other three from bringing a little bonus Christmas cheer, where they discussed Christmas movies, songs, traditions, ”decolonization,” and Matt’s journey through the arctic tundra.

Before Matt left for his new job training, the guys got together and somehow revisited some of this show’s finest moments all over again. Craig splitting his pants? Check. Circumcision? Check. Holiday spirit? Check check check.

This week, the guys are joined by their good buddy Corey, who didn’t come empty-handed. He brought a case of good beer, a can of horrendous beer, and a movie so bad that the horrendous beer tasted better. The movie? A little-known classic that goes by ”Hellhole.” We’ll leave the rest to your imagination.

Three-fourths of NTS got together on a late Saturday night to discuss a few things, notably Matt’s new job, but also engaged in some deep discussions about life, death, and the human condition.  Mostly that second one...

So, we heard from several dozen of you (okay, just one of you, several dozen times) that the individual recaps were just too difficult to listen to. Because of this, we got together to record our own thoughts summarizing a HUGELY successful weekend with the greatest nerds on earth.

Our RI Comic-Con recaps come to a close with one of the finest interviews we’ve done, renowned cartoonist, known nationwide for bringing the world ”Sour Grapes,” Mr. Tim Jones. For all the drunken laughs we enjoyed that weekend, these were possibly the most rewarding.

As the Rhode Island Comic-Con weekend drew to a close, we made sure we spoke with connections old and new. None of them older or cooler than our long-time friend (and housemate) Cedric from the Official True Story Bro Podcast. That show might be on a bit of a hiatus, but that didn’t stop Temu Omar Epps from getting things done.

We meet a lot of kids at Comic-Con, which is to be expected. But when Sophie arrived at our table, we had no idea what was about to happen. This dedicated cosplayer is also likely to win big at life, as evidenced here, where she shamed four middle-aged idiots with sheer intelligence.

The guys may not have many friends outside of Comic-Con, but they usually manage to make a few good ones within the walls. Some of you may remember our buddies at clothing and art designer Ghost Toad... well, they were back, in force. Listen and buy their stuff!

As you can imagine, RI Comic-Con is full of colorful characters. But now and then, we meet someone who just GETS IT. Which is why we had such a good time hanging out with Abel and her father. For those of you wondering why there are two spellings of the name, just listen and see for yourself.

RI Comic-Con is always a blast. But it’s even better when longtime friends stop by. Since we don’t actually have any friends, we’re grateful that Chuck and Brad from the Funbearable podcast pinch-hit instead.

For every good RICC cosplay, there’s 1,000 bad ones. This year, the bar was raised, thanks to a dedicated ”Neverending Story” fan costume and puppet show that blew our jaded minds. They still killed that horse, though...

Normally, the guys are the drunkest people at Rhode Island Comic-Con. New friends DeAndre and Elijah would have said, ”hold my beer” but they were too busy drinking it. Challenge accepted.

Every Comic-Con, the guys have a few new friends who hang around, waiting for the right moment to jump on the mic. NO ONE ever waited as long (and as patiently) as new buddy Arturo.

Just one week before Rhode Island Comic-Con, the guys are all here, joined by two of the four NTS wives. But having Rae and Keia on mic didn’t stop them from making all the jokes they normally would anyway. Like an old school throwback, this one is light on theme and heavy on laughs.
