“They’ve both crashed in a whiteout!” - Losing and retaking South Georgia, 1982
The small actions that took place around South Georgia, in the South Atlantic, were very much a sideshow when compared to the main conflict around the Falkland Islands. But, seeing as there’s nothing I like more than a sideshow, I thought a look at the Argentinian actions to take the islands and the British to take it back again was worth a closer look. This podcast took a long time to research and write, so if you appreciate it, please leave a review, it costs you nothing and would be very helpful to me...
