No Cap: I keeps it Real
In the spirit of Black History Month we are discussing topic for the Black Community. Black men are we part of the Collective or apart of the Collective.
Black Women need to hear us, feel us, and our protection.
Do we need to get married now that we are "already doing it." Should we move in with our significant other if we really don't have plans to get married? What's the rush or big deal? We try it out first before we get married.

On this special Martin Luther King Jr. birthday we will discuss strategically standing in our blackness.
We are living in a society of ignorance and down right hatred. Some are hated just because of their skin tone and other times just a genuine wanting to know you. Some non black people have a desire to understand us and our culture. There will be moments of confrontation and/or education because of the lack of understanding or the bigotry. I believe we must chose wisely on how we respond on how to Stand in your Blackness.
We are constantly changing and evolving and with that we "Molt" or shed. Most times we are shedding friends, places and things that we used to do and its ok. Recognize when it doesn't fit anymore and adjust accordingly. Life is too SHORT!
