On this episode of @NOITAYpodcast Nick is back and as bad as ever. Gavin finally brings up his topic about “The Look” (http://youtu.be/X4YK-DEkvcw?t=2m43s) from the infamous Shot At The Night music video by The Killers. Nick asks what your phone case says about you and we find that phones are way more than what they used to be. Karthik rounds it out and asks what the best deal you’ve gotten and Nick recalls all the times Craigslist and Kijiji have worked in his favour. There’s also some discussion on English slang, thot walks, and some “Things That Bother Me But Really Shouldn’t”.

The handsome NOITAY boys get back together with Arian (@SaiyanArian) to discuss everything about being a 20something. Arian opens up the floor with “What would be in your zine?” where we learn that Gavin will fight for gender equality with porn and shemales. Karthik takes it to the deep end asking “Are you religious/spiritual?”. This gets the boys talking about what god is, what it means to be a good person, and the meaning of life. Gavin gets right back to the nasty stuff NOITAY is known for and asks “How many tabs is acceptable when masturbating?” here we learn about Chrome shortcuts, girls with iPhones, and backdooring. NOITAY is back with an episode that goes a little over the line, but that’s what you like isn’t it? Nick asks what’s the best joke you’ve ever told and the crew gets into being in elementary school and being a vampire. Gavin asks what’s the last movie you’d watch before you die and ends up spoiling a few old movies/shows. Karthik gets the guys to think of who’d play then in a movie adaptation of their life, which gets into look-alikes, typecasting, and Booboo Stewarts abs. Common White People Knowledge and Things That Bother Me, But Really Shouldn’t also return!

And we're back! This week Nick asks how technology and how it inspires creativity which gets into secret songs, making music, Avenged Sevenfold, and Gavin getting what he paid for. Gavin brings up Tinder and we recall a bunch of our silly antics and how to play the game. Karthik moves the podcast into the shallow end and plays some Marry, Fuck, Kill with the boys. The episode rounds out with Things That Bother Me But Really Shouldn't, Gavin's date disaster and how we don't want anyone to hear this episode.

The NOITAY crew returns for season 2 after their epic cliffhanger ending. Nick asks what you would trade a ball for and brings up riveting discussion that gets into ball genie semantics, marriage dowries and happiness. Gavin talks about his first weeks in the UK, being in a foreign country, missing home and being stereotyped as a Canadian. Karthik asks if feminism needs to be rebranded which comes full circle to ball talk and goes into magic, tumblr and Emma Watson. As always Karthik has something for Things That Bother Me But Really Shouldn’t.

NOITAY wraps ups its first season with special guest Scott Simons @scottwsimons. We chat about Crossfit, being put together, cultural cringe, mutant pump, mesurementi, making musical magic, schoolyard drama, Scott being large and incharge on the road and Macho Man Randy Savage makes an appearance. Karthik brings up judging a book by it's cover and how it's bullshit. They talk about actual books, hot people wearing shitty clothes, trying, and how nick treats towels and people the same. Scott brings up about memories you can't let go of. They get into old school games, being a child and a brat, self cringing moments, former fuck ups and letting go of them. Karthik brings up an embarrassing story of how a stick beat him. Pointless inspiration, being a do-er and not a show-er. Gym judging. Gavin gets retrospective and asks us 5 years ago where we see ourselves in 5 years (now). It gets kinda meta when Gavin asks if we thought we'd still be friends back then. Karthik delivers some poorly thought out inspirational advice. Nick builds off Gav's topic and asks us where we hope to see ourselves 5 years into the future. According to our plans we'll be all jacked out of our minds. They round out the episode by planning for episode 250 and finally talking about the origins of the podcasts name. On this episode, Nick and Gavin go into their weekend which included dance cave, emo karaoke, hungover sundays and resting miserable face. Nick talks about how the internet never seems to work when you need it to the most (#performanceanxietyphones). Karthik mentions YouTube is his go to for impressing girls, and Gavin cries and calls out his friends for making him go to fan expo alone. Gavin then brings up the quote “Then I’ll love who she becomes” which leads into conversations about growth, friendship, change and love. Nick and Gavin tell Karthik about their magical spirit quest in which Nick talks to trees and Gavin discovers the meaning of life (It could very well be Girls by The 1975). Karthik finishes off by asking about the gangs summer and what they’ve done. Of course, they finish off with Things That Bother Me (But Really Shouldn’t) and Is It Creepy?

Cum to live, live to cum! Nick gets gavin to spy on a girl (Is it Creepy? It is), and he sees a familiar hottie on the street. Gavin talks about how we should liberate ourselves from movie reviews, which leads into Spider-Man 3 being ahh-mazing and fuck everyone who thicks differently, the Venom Years, and Donald Glover (finally) becoming Spider-Man. The gang takes a break to talk potential sponsors, specifically MARS (the first episode is free, Mars! Email Us!), and opens auditions for people to be the new cast of NOITAY season 2. Nick asks the boys what their favourite songs of all time are compared to their favourite songs at the moment. Karthik talks about the childish stuff that we’re still into such as video games, toys, Yu-Gi-Oh cards and Harry Potter (also sexy, sexy, cosplay). Also—Things that bother me but really shouldn’t!

On the longest episode to date, the gang are joined by their #1 fan, Caroline Wilson (OMG A GIRL!). Nick asks how their new years resolutions are going, which spins into talking about resolutionists, laughing out loud, and Gavin’s beautiful six word story about taco night. The rest of the topics revolve around the recent passing of Robin Williams. Gavin brings up Dead Poets Society (spoilers ahead!) and talks about Carpe Diem and how they each try and seize the day, Karthik talks about gender roles and what its like to be a boy/girl in the modern world, and Caroline talks about depression, suicide, mental health and the stigma that surrounds it all. They finish off on a light note by asking Caroline questions about girls and if the “Is It Creepy?” saga was actually creepy.
