In Luke 10, Martha was busy while Mary was still.

In John 11, Martha ran to Jesus while Mary stayed back in her grief.

Two sisters. Two different responses. Same invitation.

Jesus gently shows them — and us — that there’s always a next step. Sometimes it looks like slowing down, sometimes like drawing near in our pain, sometimes like serving with worship in our hearts.

The point? Disciples move deeper.

Not by doing everything right, but by taking the next step with Jesus.
