In this episode, I sit down with my cousin Caroline and we bond over the earth-shattering losses of my sister Ivanna and Caroline's father Larry in 2020.
We cover ground on what the beginning of the healing process has looked like for both of us and the level of understanding we now share with others who have lost a close family member.
Caroline and I call out some memorable acts of support we received from friends during the tough time as well as some Do's & Dont's when supporting someone in the dark depths of grief.
We also talk about the impact C*vid had on the grieving process and funeral arrangements; good and bad.
Caroline opens up about her plans to keep Larry's spirit present physically for her big moments that he will miss, through the form of his ties.
