You're NOT Anemic Part 1 w/ Morley Robbins

In this episode, we are joined by Morley Robbins, creator of The Root Cause Protocol and author of Cure Your Fatigue. Morley is a pioneer in understanding the role of minerals like magnesium, copper, and iron in the body.

Morley has helped thousands of people find healing through a greater understanding of these important minerals, and in this episode, we explore how we can best support our physiology through this understanding.

We discuss the misconceptions surrounding iron, copper, Vitamin D, and anemia, and how the Root Cause Protocol can help address the true underlying causes of fatigue.

Morley explains how copper is wrongly considered toxic, and how copper actually creates energy, catalyzes enzymes, combats "enemies", and controls iron. When copper is not bioavailable, iron becomes dysregulated, and many of the symptoms people experience are actually caused by iron, not copper.

In addition to learning about the role of copper and iron in the body we address:

  • The innate wisdom of our body and the importance of bioavailable copper in maintaining our health
  • What is bioavailable copper (ceriloplasm) and it’s role in the body
  • How our bodies store iron and why blood tests can’t accurately measure your iron
  • How copper and iron move from mother to baby during pregnancy
  • The impact of mineral deficiencies in the postpartum period
  • The role of the enzyme PAM (run by copper) which can lead to gestational diabetes and insulin problems
  • Why cholesterol and fats are good for us
  • Healthy hemoglobin levels in pregnancy and not pregnancy

Morley Robbins became a Wellness Coach in 2009 and has since become a self-taught mineral expert. He has devised a unique blood test to reveal mineral dynamics and has performed over 5,500 consultations with clients in 45 countries. He regularly confers with world-renowned mineral experts, in addition to his research, and focuses on continued research, writing and educational conferences to promote his insights and findings. To that end, he manages two websites to provide mineral education:

  • The MAG Facebook Group: http://gotmag.org and
  • The Root Cause Protocol: http://therootcauseprotocol.com

His priority focus is to master mineral metabolism and its foundational impact on our health. If you want to learn more about the story of copper, magnesium, iron, and ceruloplasmin, and how their interactions are intended by nature to maintain our health, be sure to check out Morley's book, Cure Your Fatigue, the unlimited information on his website, and his multiple podcasts.
