Hello friends, welcome to the last podcast episode of 2022 and on this podcast, I talk about the latest book I am reading and reflected briefly on my day and 2022.
The book I am reading is by Mel Robbins called 'the 5 seconds rule' and if you are on my social channels, you would have seen me post about this book.
You can get the book here
I feel it carries a powerful idea that is transforming lives and that is taking action on the things that move the needle for you. It's basically gives you a simple concept that helps you find courage to make those decisions that are uncomfortable. You basically countdown from 5 to 1 and then you take an action after saying the word, go. With this, you move past your feelings and you simply take action.
When you take action, you build courage, self-esteem, momentum that then helps win the minute, then the hour, then the day, then the month, then the year, and then the decade.
I encourage you to read the book and apply the 5 seconds rule to your days.
Your 2023 depends on the actions you take every day and you owe it to yourself to take action on your dreams. Don't feel discouraged, you have all you need to make a difference to your world and that starts with one positive action in the direction of your dreams.
Until next year, take care friends.
Hi friends, welcome to episode 5 of my podcast. It's been a minute and I have procrastinated on this since the 21st when I recorded this episode. I am learning to take action and forgive myself for the things I don't do on time.
In today's podcast, I talk about the important concept of doing the work when no one is watching. You see, the real magic happens when we are away from the public, when we are all by ourself. Do you then have the drive to do the work when no one is watching because that is what ultimately defines you. At this point, you have to remember the promises you make to yourself and have the courage to keep them.
I am learning more about this and building on it. I know everything I can dream of, I can achieve but I have to take action to make my dreams a reality. So away from the public, I am keeping my promises to myself and acting on them by doing the work.
My next episode drops on the 31st of December and I will be discussing a book I am reading called 'the 5 second rule' and it promises to be exciting.
Happy holidays everyone
In today's episode, I talk about gratitude and share some personal testimonies and how thankful I am to God. I delve further into the audio clip from Minister Paul Adefarasin about how we can forget how significant the little things we take for granted are. Yes, the little things are the most significant things in life.
From having hot and cold water, having a vehicle, having warm food, having a roof over our head, comfy beds to sleep in, and money left to pay bills and afford a few other things.
Today being Sunday, I was stuck picking what to wear from the clothes I had. I felt that I didn't have what to wear but on second thoughts, I had more than enough to wear. May God never take us back to where He brought us from.
There is so much to be thankful for. It is such a miracle to sleep and wake up, that I get to see another day, it is God alone.
So friends and family, find time to remember all God has done and where He has brought you from.
Take care friends and remain in thanksgiving...
Today's episode is on choosing yourself and doing away with doubt. When you choose you, you improve your confidence and there is no telling what you can do with confidence. You can go on to achieve your dreams and goals.
When you are confident, you feel like you can take on the world and can do anything.
I recently listened to a podcast on confidence by Dean Graziosi. He talked on what difference confidence can make, how it can help you, and how to keep it and never lose it again.
Here is a link to Dean Graziosi's podcast - https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-dean-graziosi-show/id1085301578?i=1000590063318
You can listen to him and what he had to say which I know you will find useful and relevant.
Remember, God loves you. Until next time, continue to choose you and don't lose your confidence.
Hello friends and family, welcome to episode 2 of Nyema's corner. Today I read excerpts from the book "Discipline is Destiny" and the chapter is "Do Your Best."
I then relate this to the world cup, footballers and my wishes for them. It is so heartbreaking to see the emotions on display when nations go out. Dreams of top players to win the world cup are shattered. What do you say to them? What do you say to the best of the best? To Bukayo Saka, Harry Kane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Richarlison, Kevin De Bruyne, and many others. For me, I will tell them to hold their heads up and that there are better days ahead.
For some, they get to retire soon and they know they won't grace the stage again, for time has come for them to hang their boots. For others, they are still young and chances are they may be at the next world cup. Every one is at a different stage. For each and every footballer, my sincere wish is that they recover and face life with their heads up. This also applies to those who are not popular, we all have our lives to lead, don't let one event completely define you. Your best days are ahead.
In the chapter, it was said that at the end, it won't matter what history writes but what will matter the most is whether you gave your best on the field of play whenever you took to it or did you make excuses and gave less than your best?
This will be my mentality and clarion call going forward, to give my best and nothing but my very best as I chase my dreams and goals.
Hello listeners, welcome to the first episode of Nyema's corner. This podcast will be available on major platforms.
I am most grateful today that I get to start this and get to share my thoughts.
So what can you expect from this podcast. It's about me, medicine, life, books, music, and business projects.
I plan to keep the podcast length to under 5 minutes except when I have guests on the show, that will be 30 mins as well as well I do chapter/book reviews.
As we go into 2023, I am thinking about becoming a better version of myself and what areas of my life to improve on.
I feel the need to be more disciplined and focus in all I have to do.
Life is going to ask certain questions of me and the dreams I have in my heart. I believe I am improving my daily habits so I can make the next few months the best ones possible. Two key areas to improve are my discipline and commitment.
I want to document what this process looks like, hence the need to start this project and recommit to my website here4achange.com
I started Here4aChange in 2020 and after November, I never did take consistent action and improve on it. I procrastinated on my writing, on podcasting, on sorting out website issue, on being consistent.
Today, I course correct and start on a new path. The whole process of automation excites me and I look forward to getting my podcast on all major platforms.
The journey starts today
