In the industrial city of Fall River, Massachusetts, the bodies of three young women, Doreen Levesque, Barbara Raposa, and Karen Marsden, were found between 1979 and 1980. What began as routine murder investigations soon spiralled into tales of Satanic rituals, occult sacrifices, and cult leaders ruling the city’s underworld.

In the summer of 1988, 17-year-old Tate Rowland was found hanging from a tree outside Childress, Texas. What police first called a suicide soon spawned rumours of dark rituals and a hidden cult. Three years later, his sister Terrie Trosper was found dead under equally mysterious circumstances.
