小常識
在西方，餐廳服務生的底薪很低，所以得靠客人所給的小費(tip)來維生，甚至還有人一輩子都靠小費過活。小費的多寡完全視服務態度好壞而定，因此，對於自己的客人，他們總是照顧得無微不至。但是，付小費時必須拿捏得宜，更不可以忘記給小費，在出國時應該特別注意這件事。

大補帖
在看過菜單一段時間之後，就會有服務生走上前來問你Are you ready to order?或May I take your order?，這時我們可以回答:
I'd like to try this set meal here.
(我想吃吃看這個套餐。)
I'd like some seafood, but you don't seem to have many seafood dishes.
(我想吃點海鮮，可是你們的海鮮好像不是很多。)
 
若是猶豫不決，不曉得點什麼才好時，像對話中那樣反問服務生，也是不錯的方法。
I'm having trouble~除了對話中的用法，還可以運用在其他場合，例如:
I'm having trouble with this project.
(我為這項計畫而苦惱。)
Eric was having trouble (in) selecting which field to go into-business or law.
(艾瑞克不知道該選擇從商，還是當律師。)
