Jennie Grace grew up in the UK foster care system. She livedin an area of 742 square miles and had 100 children's homes. She wasphotographed and placed on a "menu" to be sold into an organizedcrime world of sex trafficking and SRA. Picked up by taxis and drugged atnight, she remembers being driven around England and the places she was taken. The police refused to take her seriously. Having this information investigatedwould help rescue the children in the UK currently caught in abuse today. TheUK needs to listen to Jennie and other survivors and rescue the childrencurrently being abused. This can only happen when the adults are heard andtheir stories investigated. It's time to truly care about the children inEngland.

In today's episode I introduce you to Patrick, my husband of 30 years. We discuss our early years of dating and marriage and find out why he believed the sexual abuse and the sra. I hope you enjoy hearing our journey of discovery of abuse from his perspective.
Merita Atherly Engen is from a family of SRA, although she herself was not a victim of the SRA. She has released her first book about her story, documenting how the silence enforced on them all seriously affected her life. "Heartache of Promise" is a well-written book that shows the pain and abuse Merita suffered and how the fallout of the toxic family system affected her life and the choices she made along the way. Her next book will document her sister, who suffered SRA. She calls this "a soft approach to a hard topic." The code of silence enforced in her family is quite fascinating in how she explains it in this book. Through it, she talks about the issues and shame that silence generates. SRA produces secondhand trauma, which we don't often talk about. Merita documents this very well in "Heartache of Promise." I found this a very interesting read and cannot wait for her next book.

Clinging to God in DespairJuxtaposing the god of the torture of rituals with the Yahweh of love in the Bible, we know who to cling to in despair. Hear who Angie turned to in her despair. Catch up with the rest of her story in "Angie, SRA Victor," on the "Only God Rescued Me" podcast.
Angie Tripp grew up in a home filled with fear and an unpredictable, angry mother. For years, she learned to survive by shutting down her emotions. But adulthood—and eventually marriage counseling—forced her to confront the anger she carried but never understood.
As Angie began journaling, her writing took unexpected turns, revealing pieces of her story that didn’t make sense at first. What followed was a confusing, painful, and ultimately courageous journey as memories and impressions of ritual abuse began to surface.
In this episode, Angie shares her personal experience of unraveling suppressed emotions, facing trauma, and finding a path toward healing. Her story is raw, honest, and a testament to the strength it takes to look inward and seek the truth.

Brandy Young has spent years advocating for survivors of human trafficking. Her work took an unexpected turn when a survivor of ritual abuse disclosed her story. Unfamiliar with the concept of SRA, Brandy began researching and educating herself to provide informed, compassionate support. As more survivors began to come forward, Brandy recognized a pattern—and a need for awareness. She believes that, just as society has gradually come to understand sex trafficking, it must now begin to acknowledge and address the realities of ritual abuse. In this episode, Brandy shares her journey, her advocacy, and her deep commitment to helping survivors find healing and hope. You can connect with Brandy at www.brandyyoung.comYou can connect with Brooke Abella at www.quietwatersrestoration.comOnly God Rescued Me: Website: www.onlygodrescuedme.com Contact Lisa:lisa@onlygodrescuedme.comTo help support this podcast: PayPal @Lisa453Venmo @lisameister4242 Square https://square.link/u/kQLAozvVBuy Me a Coffee https://buymeacoffee.com/onlygodrescuedme.com

Lisa Gillard tells her story in today's podcast. Parts 1 and 2 of her interview painted the picture of how the abuse has affected her life, thereby creating a cry for justice that has spurred her to reach out for someone who would help her achieve it. It has also given her a heart to help other survivors along the way. Join me today in honoring LIsa's story as a compassionate listener. We have been slowly working our way through Lisa's story. In part 1, we discussed how Lisa has experienced flashbacks, triggers, medical conditions directly resulting from trauma, financial strain from therapy, and managing the loss of family and friends. Today, we discuss managing the mental health industry, understanding malevolence, look at the crimes involved in the group, discuss the cry of injustice, and the resulting need for justice. This paints the picture of the life Lisa has lived, and thereby the lives survivors, in general, have to tolerate. In part 3, Lisa will finally get to tell her story. Lisa Gillard is a good friend who graciously gave mecreative license to play with her story to present it a bit differently than I normally do. What we created was a picture of the life of a survivor. Lisa vulnerably shared the gritty day-to-day challenges survivors face to brave the past and the present in an attempt to deal with the criminality of ritual abuse, the malevolence of the abusers, the toll of the abuse on the mind and body, as well as the stigma of society she bravely faces as she wages her social media campaign. I hope you find this interview as intriguing as I did. Thank you, Lisa, for your trust. You have my permission to pay me back later. A shout-out and a big thank you to Monique Koven of “The Healing Trauma Podcast” (check the podcast out if you haven’t, lots of healing resources to be had there) for introducing us years ago, and for making today possible. This is part one of a two-part series.

Sharon grew up in what can only be described as a life of trauma. Her mother didn’t want her. Her father was distant. She grew up without love and filled with shame. She began drinking at thirteen to numb the feelings she couldn’t begin to describe. When she tried to kill herself at seventeen, a voice told her to try to hang in there because it couldn’t get worse. She listened to the voice, even when the memories of sexual abuse and ritual abuse came in. Sharon’s journey is rough, but also filled with her joy and love of God. You won’t want to miss this episode.
