No ME Time, by Liberty Forrest
In my line of work (helping people get unstuck and moving forward in their lives), clients are always telling me about how insanely busy they are. They say, "I have no 'me time' at all!"
They're exhausted. Fed up with responsibilities, and with everyone and everything else coming first and needing their attention.
Well, the truth is, if everyone and everything else is coming first, it's only because these people are allowing it. You don't just "find time" for yourself. You have to take it.

You Only Fail, When You Stop Trying to Succeed

Be guided by a Spiritual Arts Mentor and Master Teacher
and discover why you are here, the lessons you’re
meant to learn, and how to follow that path.
Is there something you want to do? Some particular goal you have? Maybe it's those pesky New Year's Resolutions, a habit you want to break, for example stopping smoking. Or maybe something you want to learn to do, like learn to play the piano.

All of your personal, subconscious beliefs are malleable, they can be changed. No belief is too big or too small, too grand nor too insignificant to be changed.

“Thoughts Become Things” changes everything. I’ve heard it said, “Show me your life and I’ll show you your thoughts.” Suddenly, I realized that there might be a lot more to thinkin’ than just thinkin’.

I know firsthand that the carnage of grief can be deafening. I understand when I hear client’s say they never want to lose anyone ever again, it’s just too painful. But then, I worry that they may limit their recovery and one of life’s greatest experiences, love.

First sign that we live from Ego is the fact that we are always focused entirely on our own needs, where everything is always about “me, me, me”. Ego is all about serving itself, and putting me on the pedestal.

As a crystal is formed deep within the earth under immense heat and pressure, it grows into a precise three dimensional pattern of atoms called a crystal lattice. The crystalline pattern repeats itself throughout the entire crystal structure packed as tightly as possible until no more free atoms are available and the crystal is terminated.

Life can change on a dime. Every part of mine changed, yet I felt static, because if I moved, then at some level of existence, I was accepting this unwanted change. And so, I felt like life was moving around me, like a raging river moving around a large rock, then tumbling uncontrollably, like rocks washed down the river in a flood.

Up to this point, navigating the unknown waters of a plane crash was the most significant challenge in my life, until it wasn't.
I felt my consciousness separate from my body and it was painless, beautiful in fact.
I recall this unfathomable feeling of unconditional love. It was pleasant in the space between this world and the next. I knew who I was, what my history had been and that I was somehow beyond the struggle that I was witnessing below: notably absent of fear with my physical body suspended upside down in that plane. I no longer fear my own death, but that did not bring comfort for the next most significant life experience.

As a mere mortal, we appear to be subject to death, the end. Logically, that limp body appeared lifeless, something different from the person I loved. Inside my brain, I stared at him in numb disbelief, and knew he was gone. But where did “he” go, because I was still holding his hand.

A few months ago, in some new moon or full moon ceremony, I planted the only flower seed I had. It was a sunflower seed that someone gave me last year. I planted it in one of those tiny little pots, and be darned if it didn’t germinate, in the house. I watched it grow to five feet tall and reach for the sun through the window beside my office desk. And then it bloomed! It barely had any leaves by this time, but it produced a flower. What beauty, faith and optimism!

...We receive true messages from going inside, from the stillness. The answers and wisdom can be surprising, something you never would have “thought of.” We just need to trust. Supplementing with reading and research is great, if you are that type, but totally relying on these outside sources can be very distracting. Trust me, I know. I come from science and research. Learning to trust my intuition is a life-long journey for me, I expect.
