Then they tackle the dangers of A.I. and deepfaked videos. Jozy gives his opinion on Pokimane recently received backlash for having a team that blocks people in her chat. The episode ends with Jozy pleading Alex to give Tomo-chan is a girl on more chance.
We got so tired of complaining about other award shows that we decided to make our own!! It was a long time coming but here’s the 2022 Otaku Outcasts Awards!! Our first ever episode in front of the camera, and the start of a new era for the podcast!
Due to audio issues the original episode 71 had to be scrapped. This episode is the result of quick last minute measures. By far the most out of pocket episode yet! For just the second time ever we have a guest joining Jozy today. Jozy questions Maxwell on all kinds of topics ranging from his love of Loli’s to his thoughts on Anime of the year! LoliHunter69 is back!! After fully recovering from his surgery, Bryan makes a return to the pod. Jozy asks some introspective questions about how we all judge media. Now that November has ended they discuss what they think consider Anime of the Year.
This week Jozy talks about how Ash and Pikachu finally have become World Champion after 25 years. The episode ends on a very serious note after Jozy describes a discussion he had about a controversial opinion someone made about Mushoku Tensei’s sexual misconduct. This topic leads Alex and Jozy to discuss the importance of various things such as forming your own opinions and identifying narratives.
Alex and Jozy give their recommendations for the Fall 2022 season of anime. Jozy is convinced we are currently living through the new Golden Age of Anime.
This week the boys spend the episode discussing romance anime. They talk about a variety of things from anime that remind them of their own love life, to whether romance anime can be considered equal to action anime in terms of quality.
Keanu Reeves’ comic book BRZRKR is getting an anime adaptation. Alex questions if One Piece really will end in 3 years. Will One Punch Man season 3 really not having any Saitama. Jozy is reading the Konosuba light novels and is extremely impressed about how close the anime sticks to the source material. This and much more on todays episode.

This season we have anime about people falling in love with Vampires and Demons, revolutionizing fantasy world with modern medicine, and even a best girl who’s a female John Wick.
