Welcome to Mayfair. Dom is watching Bridgerton for the first time and sharing his opinions about the costumes, complicated families, and the old-fashioned, patriarchal class systems. Kyla is completely geeking out about the show, having seen the author in a live book reading, read all eight books, and watched all three seasons. Listen as a novice (Dom) and fan (Kyla) watch and discuss Bridgerton.
Note: Spoilers are shared in this recap of Bridgerton Season One, Episode One. Season Four of Bridgerton begins in January 2026.

What would you do if you saw someone being harassed on a flight? There’s a REALLY fine line between sticking up for someone and being nosey. The majority of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast believe something wild happened on the flight from the Grenadines back to Salt Lake City, and there is no cell phone footage… yet!
Bronwyn and Meredith get rid of an irritating gift, but the unicorn has nine lives. Heather and Britani have lunch to discuss Britani’s harassment, then Heather and Lisa have lunch to discuss whether the harassment was exaggerated. All while Todd is looking at women on his cell phone, and Bronwyn wants to be included in decisions about Todd’s sex life (and whether to remain monogamous).
A few predictions for the remainder of Season 6 of RHOSLC:
Kyla hopes the RHOSLC cast was asleep, which is why no one stood up for Britani. Dom hopes the show producers reach out to all the passengers and find a recording of the airplane fight. Was Meredith as wild and loud? This episode also includes a review of Dom & Kyla’s past experiences with cheating in romantic relationships and how real life never aligns with expectations.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City women are still on the yacht vacation, and all the dirt and faux (real) secrets are shared. We don’t know which is worse: making out with someone who isn’t your spouse or farting while making out with someone (hiya Todd!). Bronwyn and Lisa reaffirm that children are off-limits and not to be discussed. Meredith’s marriage is discussed because Britani may have been too drunk at the Zombie Dinner, and Lisa Barlowe wants Meredith to be a better friend to her. Meredith is great at advocating for herself. Dom and Kyla are doubtful that Meredith will step up in a way that pleases Lisa. What do you think?

In a surprisingly vulnerable Real Housewives of Salt Lake City episode, we see how all of the relationships of the RHOSLC women are adjusting and stretching. Britani grabs coffee with her daughter, Olivia, and we get to see how Britani’s emotional absence has impacted her children. Lisa shows her vulnerability to her husband, John, and expresses that she wants to be treated like glass (we’ve all been there!). Angie and Mary express how much their friendship means to each other and forgive one another for the harsh words they exchanged during the garden party. Bronwyn and her husband continue to hold strong opinions about Todd’s lack of support for Bronwyn's interest in being involved and collaborative in the RHOSLC world. What happens when your spouse loves you and doesn’t like you?

Dom pitched the idea of starting a podcast to Kyla in 2023. They would book conference rooms and chat for hours, and Dom knew others would enjoy their interactions and learn from them. Life was life-ing and the two couldn't find time to record... until they found time. Now, 17 episodes into the Overanalyzed podcast, Dom and Kyla reflect on the foundation of the podcast, the joy of recording together, and their commitment to overanalyzing everything without being critical or judgmental (kind of).

We have watched every Sex and the City episode; that is not up for debate. Hell we can quote most episodes to prove it (and be annoying). However, there are episodes that we wouldn’t choose to watch for hours every day. And hilariously, after debating our least favorite episodes, Dom & Kyla found aspects of the episodes that they enjoy. A few times, we even consider re-watching and episode to see if our perspectives have changed. Do you agree with Dom's choices? Think Kyla is missing the point?
