Parang Di Ko Yata Kaya
Ep. 55: ...magpakasal

Our very own Jade is getting married! So before the church (well, garden) bells ring, these two thought of questioning the essence of wedding before her wedding. From cold feet to hot suppliers, the range is wide--although we're not saying they discussed it well, as per ush. Congrats, best wishes, but most of all, noted on that.

Parang Di Ko Yata Kaya
Ep. 54: ...bumitaw

You're probably also wondering why these two hosts are still doing this podcast (well, they also don't know btw!). Is the idea of letting go too hard for them? Are they trying to prove that they make sense? LOL anyway, if you're still listening up until now... uhm why? kidding aside, we can't thank you enough for keeping up with these two!

Ep. 53: ...mag-diet

If dieting is no longer an issue for you... then good for you. Bye! LOL kidding!

For all of us who struggle to stick with our chosen diet -- yes, we feel you.

Back from the grave, these two hosts decided to talk about their eating habits and if they'll ever succeed with a healthy diet. hmm?

Ep. 52: ...mag-complain

Many people complain about things that do not sit well with them. But, why is it that some people do not agree with people complaining?

If the things we complain about actually make sense and are for good reasons... why can't we complain?

But yeah feel free to complain about this show. But we can't promise that we won't complain about that (Kidding!!)

Ep. 51: ...maging consistent

Hello, is it this podcast that you're really looking for? It's been obvious how inconsistent these two are in recording and uploading episodes. But they try, yeah... they do. They're reliable at that... LOL.

So do you think consistency is important? Let this episode convince you that maybe it's not.

Ep. 50: ...mag-grad studies (with Cris Argamino)

When graduating with a Bachelor's degree is not enough, we go further and become masters and doctors... and lawyers... and ultra degree holders. LOL that means they want to be "Educated" - no offense at all.

So in this episode, we are happy to have future doctor Cris Argamino share with us his experiences studying in the UK to attain his PhD and why you should push for it, too! jk

Parang Di Ko Yata Kaya
Tunggaan: The New Old Government

Tunggaan is where Eldrin & Jade pour out everything on one thing -- till bottoms up.

From the election to the inauguration, nakakaloka gurl! But as the new administration dawns, our not-so-convinced-but-also-not-so-convincing hosts have their one last gasp to release their thoughts that no one asked. Plus, some PBB, zoo-style election parallel universe shiz at the end of this episode--which seems so long because it is. Not six-year-long tho.

Ep. 49: ...mag-commute

They say there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.. but what if all we see are dreadful traffic jams, long ticket lanes, and other harsh conditions? Wait... which tunnel are we talking about?...

Anyway, let's talk about the double-life that Filipinos play as a "mandirigma" in their daily commute struggles.

Parang Di Ko Yata Kaya
Ep. 48: ...maging faithful

Once a cheater, always a cheater? Are we, as a society, to blame for the relentless break-ups of so many marriages due to cheating?

Our hosts are back (AGAIN) from a semi-long hiatus, and the first order of business is to talk about this debatable topic of cheating! lol. It'll probably take a whole season just to discuss the many aspects of cheating but for now, let's just listen to our hosts while they rant about it.

Parang Di Ko Yata Kaya
Ep. 47: ...mag-quit

This podcast's comeback episode (after so many weeks of silence) is about quitting... so our hosts would like to take this opportunity to say that.. they are finally.. STILL NOT quitting. LOL

What are the benefits of quitting?

Do you still believe that "winners never quit and quitters never win?"

If Bill Gates didn't quit college, would he still be the Bill Gates we know today?

It's time to debunk that idea that only those who do not quit, win.

Because in some cases, quitting is necessary for you to win -- perhaps on other things.

Parang Di Ko Yata Kaya
Ep. 46: ...magluksa

It's been a while since these two hosts uploaded an episode, I mean.. not that you noticed. First of all, we would like to express our condolences to Jade as sadly her father recently passed away. Also to the many many others who lost their loved ones. We can only imagine the unbearable sadness you experience even up to this day. So in this episode, the hosts will try (emphasis on the word "try") to cheer you up even for just an hour (or less depending on how long you listen to this episode lol). They mean no disrespect to the long-standing Filipino tradition of burials / wakes and when it comes to coping from the loss of their loved ones.

Again, our deepest and sincerest condolences to all. Feel free to send us a DM if you ever feel the need to talk to someone.

Parang Di Ko Yata Kaya
Ep. 45: ...magbayad ng utang

From a podcast that has their fair share of debts, it's no wonder why they would attempt to talk about not being able to pay them. Eldrin & Jade attempt to talk about why it's hard to pay back what you owe, and they really did but as always, politics gets in the way. Or at least Eldrin lets it.

Anyway, this is to pay the debt of these two for not releasing an episode in the past weeks. Kasi, the bottomline is; ang utang, kailangan bayaran.

Parang Di Ko Yata Kaya
Ep. 44: ...to not give a f*ck

And they are back - just our two (usual) hosts - on the podcast! It's their first 2022 episode back together without any guest, and the first topic they thought of is not giving a f*ck about what you guys would think about this episode. JK!

Some of us are *gifted* with limitless f*cks that we just can't stop giving away, and Eldrin and Jade are definitely one of those *gifted* people. So for this *chill* episode, they try to understand why it's important to limit our f*cks while also making sure that we do not necessarily end up *ignoring everything*.

Ep. 43: ...maging tita (with Tita G)

Welcome to your phase in life when adulting stops becoming a verb. Be it a badge of honor or a name of shame, being a "tita"/"tito" is apparently something we have to face sooner or later. So Eldrin & Jade sought guidance from everyone's favorite millennial tita, Tita G! Bring out your katinkos, biogesics, and Mary Grace cheese rolls--we're gonna party in this episode all day (read: until 9pm bedtime).

Ep. 42: ...magbalance ng life (with Jerelleen Rodriguez)

A tightrope walker got nothing on us peeps trying to balance all aspects of our life. Exhibit A: our hosts.

Probably that's why it took a CPA-turned-law student-turned-beauty queen-turned-model-turned around...bright eyes! I mean, who better to discuss this balancing act than with a jill of all amazing trades, Jerelleen Rodriguez! And no matter how little extra time you have left in your day, hope you can give this episode a listen--and find out by the end if Eldrin & Jade would stand a chance balancing their own freakin' lives!

Parang Di Ko Yata Kaya
Ep. 41: ...maging sustainable (with Stu Balmaceda)

Well, well, well.. so what have you done to save mother earth?

You want to save the turtles... but are you really doing your part? Yes, we know you've been shoppee-ing and lazada-ing and getting ready for that 12.12 sale, but what if...as you're about to throw those orange and dark blue plastic bags... guilt creeps up on you... envisioning a turtle's nose... with the plastic packaging in it.... and whoa! you became more interested if you can turn those plastic packagings into something worth using again... *tadahh* time to upcycle!

In this episode, upcycling is king and we are happy to have Stu Balmaceda (owner of Side B Upcycling) to inspire us with his advocacy and share with us his thoughts about sustainability. So maybe after listening to this episode, you'll realize how important turtles are... oh the earth as well.

Ep. 40: ...maging magulang (with Zel Petisme-Uy)

Did your parent/s ever ask you for their KPI? Or how they are as a parent to you? Probably not. But don't you think it's nice if they ask? Being a parent is indeed one of the most challenging (unpaid) jobs we could ever have, that's why we appreciate all parents for their sacrifices because it is non-stop work that also heavily requires INNER work. So what is Emotional Intelligence and why is it important for you as a parent? The hosts are so fortunate to have Ms. Zel Petisme-Uy of Parenting Is Inner Work to share why EQ is a crucial element to add in our parenting skillszz and also for us regular, childless, single folks.. like eldrin! heheheh

This episode is a long one, but we kid you not, it's filled with so much wisdom..ness so ready your notes.. or your EQ.

Ep. 39: ...maging organized (with CJ Tria)

It can be challenging to keep our things (and especially ourselves) organized. But we all know that being organized can definitely benefit us in many ways especially when it comes to planning and ensuring that we do not forget anything..... which reminds me.. oh wait.. what was I supposed to put in here again?

Ep. 38: ...maging masaya

If you're happy and you know it.. don't listen to this episode. LOL just kidding!

Listen to these two hosts as they explore what it really means to be happy. Is happiness supposed to be your goal in everything you do? Is it a mental or emotional state that you relentlessly pursue, or just a mere feeling that comes and goes? Whatever it is, you can still clap your hands.. Happy listening! Cheers!

Ep. 37: ...mag-anniversary

To celebrate this podcast's one year anniversary, the hosts decided to do a live recording session of this episode with all of their fans.. JK!! friends (and hopefully listeners!! lol). Random topics came up such as Jade's alleged "growth" over the year and Eldrin's everlasting singlehood. We also had fun games with our guests!! yay!

Again, we'd like to thank everyone who joined us in this recording session (and by everyone, we mean around 10-12 people hahahaha) and thank you all for continuing to support this podcast! We hope you continue to enjoy listening to these hosts' random musings. ;)
