Parenting is hard, especially in today's digital world! Add to this the changes happening in our own bodies during the menopause transition, and everything can feel pretty overwhelming. Hosted by Family Physicians Dr. Alison Yeung and Dr. Julie Maidment, Parenting and (Peri)Menopause is a space for moms to learn tools to navigate the tricky digital world their kids find themselves in, while also learning how to love and care for their own changing minds and bodies. We show up best for our kids when we also show up for ourselves, and we want to support you on that journey.

Welcome to our first episode!
We are Dr. Alison Yeung and Dr. Julie Maidment, two family physicians with a passion for helping our patients. In this episode, we discuss why we've decided to make a podcast about the intersection between parenting and the menopause transition.
Future episodes will focus on interviewing experts about various parenting topics (particularly as it relates to parenting in the digital age), and menopause transition topics (think: sleep, weight, mental health, treatment options!).
