In this episode, Peter Tsai finished reading the selected chapters of his reading notes, Introduction to Jungian Psychology: A case study of Psychological Types. Peter discussed Abelard's attempt at conciliation of nominalism and realism in sermo, shared his learning from synthesizing writing, summarized first chapter and introduced Jung's emphasis on creative fantasy. Peter talked about Tertullian and Origen's debate on Gnosticism, the distinction between extroversion and introversion, Platonic idealism, Cynic-Megarian nominalism – Aristotle’s eclectic approach, Scholasticism's strict realism and Kant's redefinition of the border between nominalism and realism.
