I just graduated with my BHSc(hons) Molecular Medicine, which involved lots of lab research & presenting and made it clear whether lab work really is for me. This leads me to discussing how I've never really known what I want to do & that I have so many passions to choose from.
This is a reminder that its okay to choose a different path compared to everyone else or what's expected of you & why you should listen when things don't feel aligned - there are things out there that will align & you'll be okay!

the slow growth of this podcast has had me contemplating whether its worth pursuing, leading to the realisation that my craving for community is what drives my passion for this. I am putting my ideas & beliefs out there to attract like-minded souls, not to push opinions onto anyone.I discuss the importance of being teachable, having others to rely on, and balancing dependence & independence. Let me know your thoughts (especially on making this podcast live haha) x*link to the video mentioned on plants emphasizing the importance of community: https://youtu.be/NOFPqbvD-vE?si=amifPn90HxvCERwoThis podcast is also available to watch on YouTube @kyyourguy

as someone who cries more often than your average joe, accepting this & learning how to regulate my emotions has been very important for my mental health.
in this episode I share the conflicting thoughts I've had about why I cry easier than others, and it boils down to me being an extremely deeply-feeling person, which I also blame on my zodiac sign lmao. I hope it at least makes some others out there feel less alone if relatable (which would also make me feel less alone so do tell haha), or maybe you can feel more comfortable allowing yourself to feel your emotions.this podcast is also available to watch on youtube @kyyourguy
THANK YOU :)
society can have us forgetting what actually matters in life. I have recently realised small ways that I have not been living up to my values, with one of them being shaving my legs. this may not apply to everyone & I totally understand that - it is a lot easier to move through society when upholding beauty standards. just wanted to share my thoughts in case it resonates :)share your thoughts! this podcast is available on youtube @kyyourguy & apple podcasts xto stay connected, be sure to check out @kyspillowtalkpod on instagram!
my birthday somehow resulted in a conversation on the illusion of time & why you should trust your gut lmao but we love it.

anxiety is a very common issue these days, so learning how to keep going despite feeling it is crucial. its so sad that anxiety prevents life experiences and achieving goals for so many people, so I hope this helps even a little :)
this felt like a good topic to start this podcast with because it is an act of me overcoming my anxiety, especially to start off.
if it resonated, please stick around for more! you can find this podcast on youtube too @kyyourguy & my instagram @kyyourguy_ is open to those who want to keep in touch :)
