Welcome back to a new school year. To kick of return to the classroom, I thought I’d introduce one of my own hello songs that I use at the start of my classes. It’s called “A Swingin’ Hello.”
The gentle lilt of this song feels to me like a perfectly relaxed pedaling pace.
Today I share another chant. This one is called “Dr. Seuss’s Sheep” and is based on an excerpt from the book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fist, Blue Fish. It’s set to an uneven rhythm, which might feel unintuitive, but actually fits quite well with the text.
Today's song is called Ditty Six. I found this scribbled on the back of a page of old college notes, along with five other tunes, hence this one’s name.
