This episode is about "hope". I read Emily Dickinson's poem "Hope" is the thing with feathers first in English and then in German. The poem in German is my own translation. At the beginning, I share some childhood memories of listening to birdsong in the mornings and watching birds together with my grandmother.

Poppies or Mohnblumen covered the roadsides, country lanes and even entire fields during the month of May, which turned the countryside here in Tierre de Campos into a beautiful painting. This inspired me to write the poem Mohnblumen.

This is my own poem, which I wrote in 2018.
