An interview with the co-founder of the Poland-East Africa Foundation which is marking 20 years of operations in 2026. 

The economies of the V4 Group - Poland, Czechia, Hungary, Slovakia - showed varied performance in 2025, with Poland being a growth engine, Czechia stable, while Slovakia and Hungary facing hurdles. According to a report by DXC Technology entitled "Black Friday 2025", more than 90% of Poles are aware (or have heard) of Black Friday or Black Week, while 29% of Poles seem to be in the habit of shopping on Black Friday.

The Warsaw Stock Exchange hosted the official launch of "We Did It In Poland" campaign aimed at raising awareness of Polish achievements in technology and business, both in Poland and across the EU.  As of Monday - the official launch of the campaign - 31 companies joined the initiative, including such household names as Pesa trains manufacturer or Blik payment system. The campaign will be launched in Brussels next Wednesday.
