Climate conference COP30 is now complete, celebrating 30 years of efforts to understand and alleviate human impact on the climate. Host Adam Quinn sits down with Julie Gilson to talk through the COP process, previous agreements and what (if any) progress has been made to keep emissions from rising. China reaching peak emissions, the US notably absent and more fossil fuel lobbyists than any individual country's representatives (bar the host), there's plenty to delve into. We discuss it all here. In this episode we're back to talking about Trump. His inauguration being only days away, what will the Presidency under the controversial businessman look like? We have our regular feature of number of the week too in this bumper episode. We discuss it all here. Produced by Conor McKenna in association with the University of Birmingham.
