Kia ora friends
Welcome to the last episode in Season 1 of Practically Spiritual. When people are discussing their hesitation about diving into a more spiritful life, often they'll say that it feels scary, they don't know what they'll experience and what if they open themselves up to spiritual attacks.
That's all sound and reasonable from the place of not wanting to expose yourself to anything a bit spooky malooky. But what I've learned in almost 50 years of a spiritful life is that
a) you can completely protect yourself,
b) the threats are not as great as you imagine,
c) coming from a grounded place of spiritful hygiene will mean you're not open to anything lower vibe.
I have definitely had experiences in this lifetime that felt challenging, and I think if I knew then what I know now, I would have been less impacted, felt more safe and known that I can, in fact, create a sacred space and have a say over what comes into my field.
Today we talk all of that through, including how to use spiritual hygiene, what energies out there might be impacting you and I hope this gives you reason to lean more heavily towards your natural spiritful instincts.
Thank you for joining me for Season 1. I hope to return with more in the future, but for now I hope your spiritful growth feels intentional, fun, connecting and uplifting.
Much love x
And it's not what you think. What did you think I meant?
Nothing to do with fungi or Amazonian mystical experiences. Today we get foundational with two practices that will see you calm, regulated, and connecting more than ever.
Breathwork and meditation.
Today Bee goes under the hood to help you understand why these two techniques are so powerful. Then she puts her coaching hat on and gets you set up so you can implement these deliciously but profoundly punchy tools.
Remember to share this episode if it gave you some joy or insights. I really love that you're choosing to spend time with me.
Much love :)
Come and join me for a few minutes of restorative and connected breathing. This little investment in time will be well worth it, as coherence breathing is a specific style to support you to chill on the lilly pilly.
Did you know your heart emits a beautiful, big field of energy? It's true and it can be measured. This field can be put into a rhythmical and 'sine like' wave of ease and flow - and it can impact those in your field, including children, animals and other adults.
Together, and through the nose, we breathe slow and deep, and turn that breath around to begin an exhale that is long and slow. This peaceful rhythm of nasal breathing has a deeply calming effect by increasing GABA.
The word 'coherence' means 'a clear relationship between parts' - and that's what I hope you get out of this breathwork. A connection between heart and soul, between your inner and outer world and that you develop a deep sense of peace within yourself that transfers out into your world.
Enjoy this session and please share it with those you like and love :)
Kia ora and welcome to another episode of Practically Spiritual.
I feel like I've opened my underwear drawer in this episode by letting you take a peek into my private practices. That said, you're probably already doing some or many of these small rituals to help you stay connected.
Living a life that requires us to be practical, logical, committed and planned can have us feeling like those special moments of connection are few and far between. If that's you, this is your episode, where Bee shares the many small ways to make day to day life more magic.
Bee explores how to bring ritual into your environment at home or work, how to bring ritual into driving and decision making and honouring the natural elements around you.
This is probably the most practical episode in which you'll be able to finish listening and immediately aggregate and then implement these divine rituals.
So if you're in the space to invite more light in, feel more connected in an ongoing way, buckle up and listen in as Bee shares her top tips for ongoing ritual in your everyday life.

Hello my beautiful friend.
Gosh another week - this season is flying! This is kind of a bonus episode as it wasn't in my original batch, but it rose up in me the other day and I thought I'd share it. Especially as it speaks to a very practical way to engage in your spiritual life.
Today I speak to the moments as we move from one thing to another. It began with me thinking about rising from stillness to action, or when coming home from work. But I soon became aware of how many more moments of transition we experience - and what happens when we slow enough to notice them?
Does it help to bring us more into those moments?
Does it help us to feel more grounded throughout the day?
I share some specific techniques for bringing in some conscious attention to your transitions. I'm weaving them into my life too, so please let me know what bits you enjoy, what bits you embrace and even what bits are tricky to remember to do.
If you'd like to join me for breath, I go live online each and every Monday evening (AEDT) at 8.30pm. You can join me from anywhere! Here is the link: https://www.beepennington.com/booking-calendar/the-nightcap-breathwork
This slow and anchoring guided meditation will have you feeling reconnected, calm and clear.
Creating space to turn your focus in and slow your breath down is a gift you can give yourself today. It reminds us that we are connected to our beautiful planet, Gaia, the energy around us and the air that moves through us.
Find a comfy spot, feather your nest and join Bee for this ten minute guided meditation.

This episode follows along beautifully from the previous chinwag about intuition. They are definitely part of the same conversation.
Today we explore what it means to trust those divine downloads, those intuitive hits, the messages that feel true but we might find it tricky to believe.
My question is, what happens if you never move beyond the first base because you've not found a way to trust the message? Intuitively I expect for many, they lose connection with this natural line of wisdom. The cost of which is feeling stuck in a life without guidance, insights and magic.
Even if you're not in the space of bringing through messages via mediumistic or psychic pathways , this episode still speaks to what it means to trust your instincts, your higher self, your connection to the greater wisdom that is all around us.
I want to help you move toward trust, in a way that feels safe for you and that you can tell the difference between your own thought and an insight. One of the most common feelings of resistance is something like "I couldn't tell if I was thinking it or not" or "if I share this, I'm gunna sound nuts".
Bee talks to all of these points and more, to help you feel safer as you explore your connection back to self, to wisdom, to the unspoken threads that weave through our magnificent Universe.

You've had this 'gift' since you were born. But do you know what it feels like, or how to use it for your greatest life?
Even though the wiring is strong and innate, many people aren't leaning into their intuition to it's full potential. You could be knowing more, seeing more, trusting more and being led to a wonderous, magical, affirming life. You know who to trust (or not), which way to go, which deal to say yes to, which friendship to nurture, and thousands of daily decisions for your best path.
We get quite practical in this episode (there is homework!), as we unite in the deep relation with Self in order to stay grounded, as the pace of life around us quickens.
It has never been more important to develop this relationship with Self - to be dialled in, connected, trusting and aware. Eyes open to the small hints, the subtle cues, the magical insights. You are already a spiritual being, and by developing your intuition, you are turning up the volume on your already real knowing.

This breathwork session can be used very strategically because it is short and has the power to transition you from stressed or alert, to a more relaxed and centred state.
Box breathing in this episode is done through the nose, drawing a slow but deep breath in, holding gently at the top, releasing through the mouth and again finding a soft breath hold at the bottom. The rhythm is very regulating and the nasal breathing is nature's way to tell your nervous system 'all good, alerts are off'.
So find a comfy spot - put on your headphones and enjoy this short breath experience with your guide, Bee.
You can find more breathwork on Bee's website, beepennington.com/breathwork
If you'd like to work with Bee and do breathwork 1:1, you can book online here.
In today's episode, we dive into the HABIT of our thinking. Learn how your thoughts, and the way you interpret your world, can impact and inform your nervous system , your health and your connection.
Whether you're interested in improving your clarity and connection with spirit, OR you just want to feel better and have a calmer inner landscape, this is step one. Your thinking is foundational and has a huge impact on your nervous system and overall health and happiness.

Welcome to Practically Spiritual with Bee Pennington.
This podcast is what Bee wanted 5 years ago, and needed 10 years ago. When she had the bubbling up of spiritual gifts and insights, intuition and curiosity, but was drowning in her practical life. Stressed, exhausted, overwhelmed and without a sense of joy.
An award winning Functional Medicine health coach, psychic medium, breathwork facilitator and meditation guide, Bee has spent the last 5 years pouring into her spirituality cup and has found that life is easier, more joyous, she feels more connected, has better connection with spirit and functions in a whole new way. And it's largely thanks to bringing mysticism, curiosity, breathwork, mindfulness and more into the foreground.
Maybe you think your way through life. But what changes when you feeel your way through life?
Spirituality and being spiritful means different things to different people. There is no right or wrong. In this context, Bee sits tenderly with what its like to be a medium, to connect with guides, to use intuition, to clear the clutter of modern thinking and believing, to bring in ritual.
You might be a healer, an intuitive, a medium, or none of those things. If you're curious about how you can feel better in your body and in your life, how you can change old patterns and expand out, how you can feel lighter with the load, you'll get something out of this.
Please note, Bee does refer to psychedelic medicine journeys. This was done in a safe and intentional setting with the focus to process a life trauma. Please do not take Bee's candid conversation about plant medicine as a recommendation. It is a space that requires integrity and must be approached with the utmost respect. Don't play with these powerful medicines without expert guidance.
