Speaking of Wildlife: With Krystal Hewitt

In this weeks episode we caught up with Krystal Hewitt from Speaking of Wildlife! Speaking of Wildlife is a wildlife rehabilitation sanctuary that is currently taking care of a special wolf named Maverick. Maverick was actually donated as a pup from our facility just a few years ago. We caught up with Krystal to see how 'Mav' has been doing and along the way we explore the differences between socialized and unsocialized wolves. Come join us on this podcast to learn more about wolves and where some of our past pack members now call home.

Wolves on the Landscape (Yellowstone National Park)

Hello everybody!

Marena and Aidan here from the Haliburton Forest Wolf Centre. In this weeks podcast we discuss the ecological significance of wolves and why their presence is so crucial on the landscape. The reintroduction of wolves into Yellowstone National Park back in the mid 90's provided a whole new level of understanding of the importance of wolves. If you're looking to appreciate wolves in a whole new light then come join us on this weeks podcast! Cheers!
