Grief, survival, and love beyond loss.”
This is a spoken-word reflection inspired by the song All I’ve Ever Known, and by a life shaped by love, loss, and survival.
This piece honors three men who mattered deeply to me — my father, my soulmate fiancé was snatched from me in 2007 but years later he was murdered in 8/2014, and my son’s father, who I met in 2008 whos life ended in suicide 3/6/2022 after unimaginable violence. Each loss arrived differently, but grief does not categorize pain. It accumulates.
I speak about what it means to love someone long before you understand who they will become — and how trauma, violence, and untreated wounds can change a spirit. I reflect on watching someone I loved survive being shot eight times, only to slowly lose himself afterward, consumed by anger and the need for revenge. I lived with the aftermath — the fear, the bloodstains, the silence, the hope that love would be enough.
This is also about motherhood — about raising a child alone while carrying grief in your body. About the moment innocence breaks, when a child asks if their father is okay now… and you have to tell the truth. About watching your child’s face change forever in a single breath.
I speak about displacement — leaving states, starting over, carrying memories across borders. About the grief that doesn’t end just because time passes. About loving someone you planned a life with, planned a child with, and knowing that bond doesn’t disappear because death intervened.
This is not a story told for shock.
It is told for truth.
Suicide is real.
Violence leaves echoes.
Love does not vanish — it transforms into memory, responsibility, and survival.
This spoken word is for anyone who has had to keep living after loss — for those raising children through grief, for those who loved deeply, and for those learning how to carry what can never be put down.
This spoken-word piece addresses resilience, visibility, and the quiet strength it takes to remain grounded in a world that watches, critiques, and misunderstands those who walk with purpose.
Rather than responding to hate with noise, this piece explores why growth attracts resistance, why leadership invites projection, and how perseverance is forged through pressure. It speaks to anyone who has felt watched, doubted, or challenged simply for becoming more themselves.
This is a reflection on endurance, self-trust, and staying rooted while rising — a reminder that opposition often appears just before clarity, alignment, and breakthrough.
In this episode, we unpack an uncomfortable but necessary conversation about comparison culture, beauty standards, and unspoken competition among women.
This is not about shaming bodies or judging personal choices. It’s about examining why certain trends gain power, how social comparison shapes self-image, and what happens

THE SYNCED SAINT: Yoruba, The Saints & The Truth Behind Syncretism
by PreciouzEyezRealEyez Podcast
In this episode, I dive deep into one of the most misunderstood parts of Caribbean and Afro-Latinx spirituality — how our ancestors hid their gods inside Catholic saints to survive slavery, colonization, and forced conversion.
We’re talking about the real story behind:
✨ Belie Belcan (Saint Michael)
✨ Yemayá + the Virgin Mary
✨ Oshún + La Caridad
✨ Legba + St. Anthony / Niño de Atocha
✨ Erzulie + Mater Dolorosa
✨ Ogún + St. Peter / St. George
✨ Santa Marta La Dominadora
✨ Taino, Gypsy, African & Spanish folk blending
I break down how these spirits were NEVER demons…
how their energy was always protective…
and how religion twisted our understanding of our OWN ancestral magic.
This episode clears up:
• The fear
• The misconceptions
• The old testimonies
• The confusion between “saints” and “witchcraft”
• How colonizers demonized African deities
• How our intuition recognized the truth even when religion didn’t
This is the wake-up call for anyone who grew up in Christianity but always felt a deeper pull — to your roots, your ancestors, and your own spiritual gifts.
This is not about worship.
This is not about fear.
This is about history, survival, identity, and reclamation.
If you ever feared African spirituality because of religion, this episode will set your spirit free.
